I finally saw Hornblower last night. They're showing them all here and I missed the first episode last week, but remembered to watch it last night. Ioan was as cute as ever I was glad to see. I used to pause "Titanic" when he was on and go yup, he's a babe. Just a quick question: how many series of Hornblower are there? And when is CC on it?

There are 3 Hornblowers (I think) and Christian is is 'Horatio Hornblower 3' or 'Hornblower and the Hotspur'. Eek Ausaims can you please take that 2nd picture of Christian off you sig, I made that for my site use only and it's direct linked...it'll take some of my bandwidth  You can use any of the other pics if you upload them somewhere... |

I just learnt I can buy HH on video and Dvd. I might buy the first and second series' so that saves me staying home every Sunday night to watch them. I wish we'd hurry up and get the third one, but according to the tv guide it will be shown in a few weeks. I want it now! I also want the one with CC in it now of course!!  |

He's ONLY in the first half of the third "movie". His character was made for the film.

The episode he was in was finally on television here last night. I was surprised to see that he had more than his usual one or two lines. At the start when he was introduced to Hornblower and Bush I thought what a moron!! But he turned out to be allright, like trying to redeem himself in the eyes of the men (and perhaps also his own!) by volunteering to go ashore with the others. His death scene was all right too.

You'd think I would have taped it wouldn't you..... We've got the last part on this weekend and then it's all over....no more of MY Ioan!  I'll have to go and get the dvds then so I can see him as much as I want. I actually missed the very first episode (the even chance) so I HAVE to buy the dvd now don't I? |
