I'm actually starting to develop a sorta crush on Damien Lewis... Like you said, he was a bit jerky in the Forsyte Saga... but he added a bit of likability to a character that was supposed to be MUCH more disgusting.

So yeah... Damien as Bill or Charlie! And NO HE'S NOT TOO OLD!!!

Hm I did`t thougth this, but I saw Bill as a very thin guy - but I can't imgaine a guy having red long hair.

Btw. for me Charlie was more sympathic..but don't know why.

Yeah, on some level I thought Bill was supposed to be hot, but I can't really imagine a hot guy with pony-tail length red hair.

I always thought Charlie was gonna be hot, though.

The way J.K. Rowling described Bill, I thought he might look a bit like Adrien Brody with red hair.

in the beginning episodes of FS, he looked kinda cute..but if u want to see him, watch DREAMCATCHER, i think it's coming out this weekend..

and he is kinda to old, he's like 36...

and i think that guy would be cute, if he wasn't squinting and looking all crazy...lol

I was in Cinema tonight and I saw the preview of Dreamcatcher and I saw DAMIAN

I wanna see this movie ( I read the book btw)

As for how he looked in FS, I think he looked cuter when his daughter was born. In the beginning of the saga, he looked (and acted) like a geek... Then he got kinda creepy (in a sorta sympathetic way). But then again, I didn't like Irene AT ALL. And I was really miffed that she had the gall to steal away her neice's fiance.

But back to the original topic. Damian isn't too old to play Bill. AND if you think about it, CC definately wasn't too old to play Tom and CC was 7-8 years older than the character.

ALSO, Snape-Lupin-Black are all WAY older than the characters they portray... So, comparatively, Damian wouldn't be miscast.

OH, and I SOOOOOOOOOOO wanna watch "Dreamcatcher." I'm almost embarrassed to admit it, but I kinda squealed when I saw Damian in the preview a week or so ago. I also think that Jason Lee is a hottie (and funny, he's got great comic timing). And Damian's real accent is so beguiling and accomodating to his voice... Oh gosh. I'm obsessed... you all are drawn to Ioan. I like Damian.
