Simple question... it' s V-Day, everyone' s going crazy, Hallmark cards are being sold by the millions, the radio stations can't stop playing love songs by artists such as BoyzIIMen, Peabo Bryson, et al, they' re showing Meg Ryan movies for the Nth time on cable or HBO or Cinemax or Whatever... SO. Oh heck, so what are you guys going to do on V-day? What is the IDEAL V-day? Where, when(?), how... who? You guys have an idea

I don't know what to do on V-Day... most likely I'll be working, but if I were to have a nice V-Day, I would want to go mountain climbing or scuba diving and then have a great cookout. Hopefully the stars will be out that night, and then my friends and I will be howling to the sky the song "Buses and Trains"... and then go skinnydipping in the morning Very unlikely at this time though I'll probably spend it with watching good movies or maybe read a book but then it's not so bad to do something adventurous or silly..

Ah, Valentine's Day. I'll probably get some flowers from my boyfriend, and give him a present. I don't like to make a big fuss, it's embarrasing!
As to what my ultimate Valentine's would be, that's easy. I have been thinking about this for some while now. I wish Christian would become a member here so we can all talk and he would answer all our questions and we could all be good friends!
Impossible, I know, but hey, it's Valentine's Day, so we can dream, right?

Since it's the day after my birthday and I'm going out for my birthday the night before the first part of my V-Day will be spent sleeping and perhaps recovering from my hangover. Then, most likely, I'll have to go to work.

I am thinking of purchasing a couple of M&M's pounders and renting a Meg Ryan movie. Hmmm... I've always loved "Sleepless..." it's a stupid story, but it's just funny.

Bitter? Sure I'm bitter... and frustrated... And I can sympathize.
The latest relationship I ALMOST had was with a guy who's probably currently off in Korea right now. Long distance never works and 6 months IS a long time. Argh!!!!! (Stupid Daniel...)

hahha, that sounds perfect, Angela! Believe me, even us who are in relationships wouldn't mind getting back at some of our b---ard ex-boyfriends. Maybe we should all have a Valentine's sleep-over right here and take a stab at some of our exes.
Very therapeutic.

I agree one hundred percent: there is one of my exes in particular who really needs to be voodooed. GR!

Anyone here who was/is interested in wicca? I think it's going to be the Full Moon on the 16th, just imagine the moon on the 14th For some reason I cannot bring myself to do some voodoo-sort of ritual... I did burn some pictures before though, out of anger, though nothing witchcraft-like haha. I used to burn a lot of incense, but I don't think it's suitable in the middle of the term and on hot days, everything becomes heavy! Maybe I should make up a spell to have the real Christian Coulson stop by and have enough guts to bare himself HERE. Hm, I've seen some wiccan book in the bookshop, maybe I can look up how to lure someone to communicate with you To those who have boyfriends in here, any gift that really worked for the guys? I have this habit of giving books, I'm not sure if it's that appreciated anymore. I think giving a guy a bunch of flowers would be sweet. Yes, white roses and orange tulips, dotted with deep red buds of roses

My boyfriend would be perfectly happy with a book- he loves to read. On the other hand I wonder what he'd think if he got flowers? I'd tell him that I think it's too cliched for the female to always get flowers, so I thought he'd like some? More than likely I won't get him anything because we generally don't bother with V-Day. Although I did get this gorgeous teddy the other year, and he would probably like something like that....Too complicated...
