well, maybe the page number is different depending on which book it is... like hardcover or paperback... but i read the info on the book and it definitely says 555pages... oh well, no matter what the exact number is, it's still a bit long for me, hehe. lol, yeah i agree with angela, he was probably just surprised... hehehehehe. i liked that interview. i think it was one of the first proper video interviews of his. and my question got asked, . hehehe. i am working on a cc calendar. no, unfortunately i don't have one that's by month (yet!), only by year (so only one pic). problem is that it's big (well sort of, about 80k), but it has to be so it won't be THAT crappy looking. lol i scanned it in from a calendar my best friend got me for christmas. hehe.

Oh dear, did I say that "Secret History" would take me a while? I meant "Little Friend"-- from what I've seen so far, it seems a bit less engaging than "History." Not that any of this matters of course.
I loved that interview too. I do wish, though, that I knew how long it will be on the archive.

If I ever ran into Christian, I'd probably completely humiliate myself. JC: Excuse me, are you Christian Coulson?!!!!!!!!!!!!! CC (cautiously): Yes... JC: Oh good. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find you. (forces package into his hand) Here's your Christmas present. CC: Um...thanks. (opens it to find a dozen mix tapes I've made myself) Omfg. JC: I know! Isn't it great? (schoolgirl giggle) Wanna go out? CC: I, uh...I have to go. Thanks. (runs away, terrified) lmao!! That's exactly why I didn't go to see him in Liverpool, I would have been like '...fgdfgdfYREYe!' That book (555 pages eek!) sounds good, might see if I can get it. I'm a fast reader, thats because once I start a book I get so into it I can't stop lmao

It's very scary, but I think if I ever ran into CC, I would actually do that. Well, maybe not the mix tapes.

'The Little Friend" hasn't hit the shelves here yet, AUGH. What I like about Donna Tartt is she can effectively intertwine the complexities of her characters with the simpleness of the plot and eventually making the whole thing more complex than it is. TSH is a simple story, when you really think about it, and can make a black and white with it, but the characters are really something. It took me a week to finish it (with school and all), but for a month I kept coming back for my favorite parts. Actually, Henry Winter is my favorite part

For some reason I want to cry whenever I think about Henry... And then... the heartless and then my mind goes back to Henry

What's TLF about?

It's about a little girl [Harriet, if I remember correctly] who grew up a little and is curious as to why her brother was found murdered, hanging from a tree. She swears to herself that she'll find out who did it and exact revenge, but as it turns out, she doesn't really know how deep it goes... and she finds herself in quite a mess...
