a few years ago I wrote to Ioan and got a nice letter from his mother including a signed foto. It took about three weeks from writing until receiving - and this from Germany - GB - Germany.
That's the only times I did wrote to an actor!

What would you say to him in a letter? I don't think I'll write to him for risk of seriously humiliating myself. Here's what I'd probably end up writing:
"Dear Christian Coulson,
I really admired your acting in Harry Potter and the~oh, screw it! Christian, I'm gonna get right to the point. MARRY ME, PLEASE!!!

I Saw a home-recording of your stage performance as Salieri earlier this year and was compelled to watch "Chamber of Secrets." I've heard vaguely about a paper that you did on graffiti and its relationship to dramatic literature or something like that. Keep up the great work. Oh, and could you talk your old profs into accepting my application? I need to get the &!@$ out of this university in this horrible rural ghetto/slum called Riverside. [You Southern Californians KNOW what I'm talking about!] If it helps, I thought that your paper was brilliant... get me out of here please!

Riverside? You live in Riverside?!  LOL!!!! Just kidding,....  ....tho...I do know what you mean...I've been there.....it was a "ride to hell" btw---we got lost...our driver was driving like a madman on the freeway....it's a miracle I'm here to talk on the forum. <g> Donna |

I just go to school there... at that "progressive" humanities research institution known as UCR. I followed my mentor there (the guy who's always in my avatar). Unfortunately, he's usually only there two days out of the week-- IF that, lucky little bugger-- whilst I must stay 5/7 days of the week. I'm an L.A. girl to the core, but it would be nice to live in a place that isn't cut up by the freeways... so if I could get a letter of rec from Christian to go off and study with his mentors (graffiti and English Lit sounds WONDERFULLY postmodern) I'd take it. |

Are you sure, he does read the letters by himself?
Some actory, I guess do never seen their fanpost. That is sad, and I hope, Christian, who is not that famous right now, read it.
When I wrote Ioan, I didn't wrote much. Just, thatIlike his acting and that it is sad, that there are no big chances to warch here in Germany much movies with him.

Now that SHOULD be sent to him PRONTO. I don't know if I'll ever write to Christian. I'll probably get 'taffy stuck and tongue-tied, stutter-shook and uptight', though I believe he's the one who can 'pull me out from inside' (eek) Are you girls seriously up to meeting with him? I want to meet him, but I am not sure if I want to do something about it. I am not so sure if I should leave it with chance... something to the effect of John Cage's cousin saying that one should be literally hit in the head at the chance of love. So if I were to go to England, I'd probably visit Soho and Cambridge and the Stonehenge and see if I could have tea with the Queen (or maybe her grandsons, harhar), but Christian-hunting wouldn't be part of the agenda. No he won't... he'll think it's his [obsessive, psychotic, stalker] grad student advisee Jasmine (because "Sampaguita" is a type of Arabian jasmine that grows on some islands in Southeast Asia-- official flower of the Philippines, I'm told).
I actually ammended the message... go to either your personal messages on this board or my thread about Coulson tapes. You'll probably have more success with those addresses. (I left Josh's more personal addy in a private message to you, and Dr. Marie Axton's on "Obtaining Coulson tapes from ADC.")
