Franka Potente, Mandy Moore and Elijah Wood are going to be in "Try Seventeen." The movie's out in the summer or fall....I can't recall.....my point is, it's not out yet. The glasses I mentioned are the ones I wore in most of the '90's. When HPSS came out, my mom flipped out the (old) lenses for me. They're just like Harry's--black-rimmed and round, tho they're bigger. Hey====today's my 1/2 birthday!!! ;D I told my mom that meant she was going to have to give me half her money. She didn't go for it, for some reason or another.

[quote author=lizifer link=board=potter&thread=1041972250&start=14#0 date=1043281448 someone mentioned "six feet under" that has got to be one of the best shows that has ever been on tv, i love it [/quote] I enjoyed "Six Feet Under", it's pretty much twisted... though unfortunately I never got to see the whole season due to my schedule. Allan Ball created it, the one who wrote "American Beauty", which quite explains the surrealistic suburban scenario of suburban USA. (wait, I got quite redundant up there) "Try Seventeen" is already being shown here, think I'll watch it one of these days. I didn't see The Bourne Identity, I am not really into Matt Damon as an action star... too bad I missed Franka in that one.

By the way Donna, is it your birthday and a half? HAlf a greeting to you then, haha I love that shot, Christian looks, oh I don't know, what is it with his face? That's it, he's MORPH of the X-men, which, ironically, is the 'fallen' X-Man... he betrayed the group to join... oh I can't remember, Colossus or Bishop or Magneto. My X-men knowledge is rustic already

To be perfectly honest I appreciated "American Beauty" more when I read the script... the story is quite incredible, it's simple yet it hits. Sam Mendes directed it, the one who directed "Road to Perdition", and AB is his directorial debut. Lizifer, you should watch it Another thing that is not like any other show is "Sex and the City"... makes me want to pack my bags, go to New York and live a life! HBO is VERY good when it comes to mini-series, even their presentations and produced movies. The thing I didn't watch though is Band of Brothers... I have some issues with war movies. I don't mind the Helm's Deep type of battle and other medieval wars, but alá Saving Private Ryan? NO. If I were reincarnated, I probably had some unfavorable experience with wars in the 20th century.

Lizifer, Sex and the City rocks bigtime... it's really funny, and I might say, EDUCATIONAL! It's fun to watch it with the girls, say, a great thing to watch during pajama parties and such. I got to watch it with a bunch of guys though, but they're like, "WOMEN!"

Which episode is that? Is the guy a bass player, the one adicted to jazz? HBO in my region is rerunning the old season, so the next season we're going to have is the one USA recently had (they're one season advanced, of course). I saw that episode again the other day, and when I think about it... hm... he kinda looks like Christian though the guy is incredibly buffed.

Donna, I understand I do have this weakness for guys who are tall and scrawny... but sometimes I cannot take my eyes off those ramp model guys... especially that Marcus Schenkenberg, and those models of Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein... I sometimes watch Lauren Ezersky and Tim Blanks in the Lifestyle Network, so please don't blame me
