I'm excited!!! Been waiting since the first movie to see the next one. Don't really like how they portrayed Aragorn in the first movie, though, so they better fix it in this one!! Love, as always, Merry and Pippin and can't wait to see them with Treebeard. I quite like the actor playing Faramir...he looks alot like Sean Bean, who played Boromir and that's how it is supposed to be! I would be going to the LA premiere this year, but I couldn't get work off! BTW, I'm new here! Scully

*cheers* hooray! more cate support!
although maybe she isn't exactly a "leading lady"... but then, hollywood leading ladies have very few requirements these days, judging by who's been getting lead roles in movies - 90-110 lbs, reasonably attractive and able to read, that's about all it takes these days. i'm not overly fond of "leading ladies".
i like intensity in my actors (male and female), feeling so deep that you're blown away when you remember that, technically, they're just "pretending" to feel it. actors that make you forget they're acting, without having to play themselves over and over again.
looks are secondary. although, if i may say so, cate blanchett has them all wrapped up too. she's a beautiful lady.

I have squeed like a little schoolgirl at every commercial I've seen for it. I absolutely can't wait for the fighting and the frodo looking like he needs a hug ;D
I want to be Arwen when I grow up.
