i remember in one of these threads, there was a discussion about christian's face, and how he can look like a completely different person in two different pictures - well, has anyone else noticed that he actually looks like a completely different person within HPCOS? while i was looking at those screencaps, i noticed that nice, sweet tom riddle talking to dumbledore looks drastically different from evil, diary-memory tom riddle. and it's more than facial expression; christian actually created two different characters within the one, both visually and otherwise, which is bloody amazing.

i want to see the movie again! i was so blown away by his otherworldly beauty that i hardly even got the chance to notice how excellent his acting was... although i think the very fact that an actor can make you forget they're even acting is a testament to their ability.

i have *no* money, sadly... i'd go on my own if i did, the theatre is about a five minute walk from my work. but with christmas coming up and all, i can't really spend anything on myself.

It is certainly, especially, a great acting performance when if you know the person's real name, they can *still* make you forget you're watching a *performance*. Absolutely.

Clare, I've seen it twice and I'd like to see it again. <g> (My brother and I went to see "Die Another Day" last night, and I would've preferred to see COS again, but I KNEW he didn't want to see it again. )

You know, it would've been nice if we had actually seen Tom Riddle twirl Harry's wand, like in the book. But then again, that brings more discussion re the screenwriting and the direction (or maybe Christian was clumsy at it ? I shouldn't talk---sometimes I can barely fold paper <g>). Oh wait a minute---maybe he DID twirl the wand---I was probably too busy looking at his face.
