if alfonso stays on for GoF that is.... gratuitous sex scenes of victor krum and hermione on the moving stairs lol! ;D ;D
and i loved a little princess...i thought it was kewl but i saw it on the family channel like 2 yrs ago...i thought it was made for TV, it wasn't? becuz i heard nothing about it before that....
and i hope he doesn't make the dementors look like the hooded things in LOTR... and they better make it much more darker and scarier than CoS, becuz POA is darker and scarier than CoS and that's in book form...

I also hope that they won`t make Dementors look like Nazgul cause Nazgul ain`t scary just a bunch of awfully old, tired kings who got invisible. What`s scary about that?
As for Sean B. being bland in CoS I was surprised, his line delivery "I can`t believe it!" was beyond bad, beats hayden`s "OB1 is holding me back!" at total badness hands down. SB was great in SS, very charming and natural, but CoS was disappointing. I`ll blame Columbus.
GoF has sexy moments - when Voyeur ghost Myrtle spies on NAKED Harry, when Snape scares busy couples in the park, when harry&Ron see Fleur in action with Quidditch jock. But harry&Myrtle...that`s gonna rock! Naked daniel ;D Anyway, Myrtle loved to spy on bathing prefects which means she saw Tom/Voldy NAKED!!!! ;D ;D ;D She became ghost while he was still a prefect and headboy (heck, he ghost`d her!) so she started with him and moved to percy, Cedric, harry (OK, the last 2 aren`t prefects but were spied on by Myrtle).

I thought Cedric was a prefect? Cedric's supposed to be the whole tall, dark and handsome thing, isn't he? I wonder who's gonna play him??

I run Cedrics fanlisting and the two guys up for his part are Henry Cavill (who's tall dark and very Cedric like) and Jack Ryder (whos blonde and not very Cedric like) I think Henry's going to get it.

"Cedric Diggory (b.1977 - d.1995) Cedric Diggory was an extremely handsome boy with gray eyes. He is quite tall and the quiet type. In 1993, when he was a Fifth Year, he took over as Captain and Seeker of the Hufflepuff House Quidditch team at Hogwarts. He was a very good student and a prefect." From Ze Lexicon. I really don't care who plays Cedric. As long as Ewan plays Lupin and Christian Bale Sirius, I'll be quite the Happy Camper.

I think Romana was saying she doesnt think he's a ok actor cos she needs to see more proof he can act lol but thanks:) I sorta agree with your opinion on Daniel, he is cute (for a kid lol) but he needs to get better at acting which he will, he has 5 more hp's to go (woohoo)

I really hate to say this, but I'll dread the day I start seeing Christian on the covers of some teeny-bop magazine, and talks about the time he loses his virginity, etc. Not that he shouldn't be responsive to fans, but such features can go overboard. And the actors look like they're off for bidding on the covers! I would rather see him in publications where he talks about the movies he's made and some subtle comments on his personality, like "Coulson, who happens to be a Simpsons fan...", "Coulson says that he greatly identifies with the character he plays, a caffeinated junkie who likes running around naked at twelve midnight..." Yeah, I have to agree Orlando B as Legolas was quite funny. He looked andprojected the character, but I cannot forget laughing everytime the FOTR scene (Elrond's Secret Council) where he defends Aragorn from Boromir, and stands up abruptly and says something like, "That is Aragorn, son of Arathorn, it is you who owe him your life..." He's just projecting too much that he is this lthe and enchanting creature!

[quote author=Romana I also hope that they won`t make Dementors look like Nazgul cause Nazgul ain`t scary just a bunch of awfully old, tired kings who got invisible. What`s scary about that? SB was great in SS, very charming and natural, but CoS was disappointing. I`ll blame Columbus. GoF has sexy moments - when Voyeur ghost Myrtle spies on NAKED Harry, quote] Yeah I think the "ghostly" King/Ringwraiths that Frodo saw when he put on the Ring were scarier than the hooded Ringwraiths (maybe they were supposed to be). And I thought the horses were scarier, actually. How would you, Romana, Angela, et. al, have them convey the Dementors? I'm not sure how to picture them....how can they be *different* from the Ringwraiths? Interestingly, in the play I'm in right now, the lead character Goldilocks has to put on a costume to completely cover herself and when I saw her in it, with a black cloak and a black cover over her face, I said to my castmates she looks like a Death Eater, and then they said no, she looks like a Dementor. I told my mom and explained Dementors to her and she said that's why she got a weird/bad feeling when she saw Kimmy in the costume. As for Sean B., yeah he really *wasn't* that good in COS---he was charming and cute and all in SS---I completely agree with Romana that it must've been directing; Columbus gave Sean B. thorough direction in SS because of that important scene between just him and Harry when teaching Harry about Quidditch. But in COS he was a minor player practically and so he didn't pay any attention to him. Which is insulting to the actors (implying their characters are unimportant, and both they and the actor playing them are not important enough to be noticed) as well as insulting to the entire audience (implying that we won't be noticing anyone except the front-and-center performers), and finally, insulting to the author herself. I'd forgotten about the "naked" scene in GOF!!!!! LOL!!!!!! Um, I would *assume* <vbg> that the director um, would NOT have Harry Potter actually be *naked* in that bathtub scene. If they include it at all (who knows?) I would assume especially since the tub is the size of a small swimming pool, they'd have the actor playing Harry (Dan or the other actor, if he doesn't do GOF) wear a swimsuit. And here's another consideration: JKR *does* mention the couples all doing stuff in the bushes <g>, but that doesn't mean that the director will include it in the movie. Angela: btw, "A Little Princess" directed by Alfonso Cuaron was NOT made for television!!! (I'm not yelling at you ). See, that movie was TRULY one of the worst marketed movies in all of cinematic history. Donna

I pretty much picture the Dementors to look like the Ringwriaiths. Minus the horses, of course. I think what they can do is to have the Dementors wear another color, maybe something like a dark mossy green hood-robe. Or maybe dark red, or something that symbolizes they SUCK souls out of wizards. I hope they won't make them look like a taller version of those creatures in Star Wars, those little things that kidnap and sell robots! The Nazguls/Ringwraiths are not just old invisible kings Oh well, I 've heard of people who're not into LOTR complained that FOTR was simply a movie about chasing this little guy for three hours time. Augh, why don't these people read? The whole Middle Earth story is as good as World History, if not more interesting(not that I am into World History, no)! It's like those people who criticize Harry Potter to be simply about a young boy who just got lucky.

hey, I know that Nazgul aren`t just old invisible kings but they never made a scary impact on me as dementor did because dementor looks like rotten corpse and that`s awfully scary. The creepy hand is important - it`s rotten and sleazy and their heads, oh boy, that mouth with skin over it they are impossibly scary!I have their look in my head but I can`t describe it, it`s too gross! Anyway, nazgul ain`t gross, they are fire inside a black hooded robes and old kings (when seen with ring on your finger). And I`ve been thinking - dementors bring out harry`s memory of mom`s murder but harry was 1 year old and one yar olds don`t make memeories! You start making them at 3, everyone knows that. Which means that this particular memory is actually Voldemort`s memory inside harry, that`s the only logical explanation or JKR really doesn`t know that 1 year olds can`t make memories.

sean b's delievery of "i can't believe it" was embaressing, i could have delievered that line better than him!
about naked harry, like donna said if they do include that scene it will probablly be done by harry wearing a swim suit.
i basically imagine the demenors as ringwraiths but dementors are much scarier than wraiths obviously becuause of the decating body type thing and they take the souls of people!

That's one good point, I say. Hmmm, if Harry's memory of his mom is through Voldemort, then Harry will eventually find out other stuff, based on the transferred memory from Voldemort. MAybe that's one way of revealing something big about Lily.
I just hope that 'something big' won't be too Star Wars.
