I agree with what Mandragora says. And I do hope no one stalks him too badly...Poor Christian.

Eek well Christian's more of a serious actor than the Phelps and Chris etc. Plus what can knowing his height/favourite colour really do for us? lmao it's not exactly amazing info... I've had a site on an English actor whos' sorta similar to Christian for a while and barely anything is known about him either (I don't even know his date of birth), but he does answer every question in his interviews, at least Christian takes interviews...not all do. Maybe he doesn’t want the net lol or maybe he just doesn’t realise there's sites about for him. Yeah he seems ‘Classical’ most of the great English classical actors are mysterious...but then again...he could be one of us, posting here incognito...

EVERYBODY is ten inches taller than me. LOL! You know, being famous has its advantages and disadvantages. For one, some actors can go to Disneyland; some can't. Some actors can't even go get a mocha at the local Coffee Bean&Tea Leaf without someone snapping a pic and having it end up in a weekly magazine. I mean, I've been wondering...especially of late, surrounding these 2 high-profile-Donna-can't-wait-for-them-movies-----how some actors can even leave the house---I mean they literally can't go to the supermarket for a pint of ice cream without *someone* recognizing who they are. Personally, I'd want to do my (acting) job and be forthcoming about my role and all that the particular role entails, but simultaneously be able to "blend" into the surroundings when I leave my front door to do something that has nothing to do with my acting. Hey, well if he's a private person, I respect that. Maybe this whole star thing is still a little new and strange for him? It's possible that he's been here before, but everyone's guess is as good as mine. If he has, he might be thinking, "But I'm just a regular guy... Why do all these girls want me? They don't even know me! Better keep it that way..." LOL okay well maybe not. Who knows, rilly.

if i think about it, i would never want to be famous becuz i want to just walk to the store without ppl looking at me and taking pics...or talking about my private life...or spreading gossip.... i totally respect CC's desire for autonomy, and i totally understand where he's coming from. The thing is that, i just want him to know that he does HAVE fans and that we're gonna support him regardless of what he does or doesn't. ;D

Yeah. I don't get why so many people are celebrity-struck. I mean, okay, seeing someone famous is cool, but they're still people. They're not, like, gods (with one exception ~ LOL, just kidding).

Have you guys seen MTV Cribs, about those celebrities' houses? I kinda find them overboard. Of course, they can afford it, but then when you think about its necessity... I think it also has something to do with what fame has brought them ,which is, as mentioned, the lost of privacy. I have a friend who says (who's a psych major), that one reason for their indulgence of their regular abode is the lack of other ordinary places to go to without their privacy getting disturbed. So like if I were a celebrity, I would rather stay home, but then I want my home to be really nice since that I would be staying there most of the time anyway. At least we've got that recent interview of Christian, and we are slowly unravelling him. Okay, so we got Coldplay, David Gray, Ms Dynamite, techie headphones, Donna Tartt, 'relieved family'. Not bad, so far. Patience, my dears, patience.
