it isn`t just you, everyone I forced to watch FS (not just to see CC but to share dying of boredom with me, tee-hee) think he looks like an friggin` angel, not that they find it very appaling, but they do think he looks out of this world literally. Especially the last scene with sister. Holy crap, when his face start glowing in that one you just know the character is doomed. I dunno how he does that but he could make career of spicing up supernatural horrors a la The Ring, The others, The Sixth Sense. However, his terrific performance in CoS is, sadly, completely overlooked by every major crtic on the both sides of the Atlantic and he isn`t gonna get any mdia attention post-CoS rlease which has nothing to do with the movie character being top secret. Even JKR didn`t mention him in her audio interview, she talked about Isacs, Branagh(of course!) and Mark Williams (Ron`s dad). She said that something important happened in the second book which would have a major impact on upcoming ons but I doubt that has something to do with Tom (or his resurrection we hope for on this board). Probably Harry/Ginny crap. Sigh.

yeah he does look young and angelic!! it's starting to annoy me how ppl are overlooking his cos performance, but if they can't recognise true talent that's their problem! u know i'm not really looking forward to the harry/ginny crap  |

He looks REALLY wonderful.... it's just too bad I am in Asia and I have no access to all his series! Oh heck, I just thank you all here for the CC updates. But then, regarding Pobs (right?), I just can't wait what she is going to tell us re reunion . I hope Christian will attend, and I do hope through this we get to know him more  About his face, he's got a really dynamic one--- and there are those angles that I see those bumps... looks like bone implant? And since that I am new here, I would like to say that I agree with those that we cannot tell yet re his sexual orientation. Besides, seems like he is a private person who would rather be noted for his works rather than his personal life, no matter how wild or boring it is. But then of course, it doesn't hurt if we do know what his height is, or if he had any siblings  What I am afraind of is that he will turn into this really famous actor, and accidentally becomes a CLICHÉ  |

don't get your hopes up about pobs comming back sumthing that we know won't happen for the countless ppl who "know" him... cc is such a sweet guy...i don't think he can ever do anything to make me not hate him..and the whole angelic appearence on the FS totally contradicted his CoS appearence..what a great actor he is! and if he can do that, i mean, he can do anything..! *sigh* but when will his big break come? obviously not with CoS as we thought, but maybe with sumthing else! ;D |

(about the pale posts) yeah we brits tend to be pale because it's rarely sunny here, thats probably why:D 'his 'ghostly' looks'...maybe he's got irish in him or something? or celtic in some way, I'm half irish and I'm pale with dark hair...skinny too tho I don't diet or anything people comment on how pale I am sometimes but my family don't think it's strange. Anywho he seems to look completley different in every single pic I've seen of him, I remember a post saying 'why doesnt he smile, do you think he has horrible teeth?' lmao in cos he has perfffffect teeth.
Yeah I hope he gets his 'big break' soon. Theres so many amazing english actors like him that just seem to vanish and theyre sooo talented:(
None of them have a fan base like this though:)

probably had 3 yrs of horrible braces like i did but that's the price u pay for a good smile! and the his fan base is pretty big....sort of, but that doesn't include the yahoo group with like 175 members, i just joined 2 wks, but i never post.... ;D he's becoming more known... ;D |

Oh well, enough about THAT  Let's just concentrate on waiting for Christian's next projects, and if there are any future pics to drool over ;D In the meantime, if Pobs ever come back, let's just see what kind of info she's going to share with us. Is it me, or message boards are turning into gossip columns? Haha, peace all. By the way if there are any INTERESTING topics that surfaces in another thread, hopefully someone will post it here? There are just too many threads and too many posts, I feel like reading a suspended saga already ! |

I am going to have to agree with Romana that CC has this possibility in starring in creepy films... as long as it is not like those Hollywood 'scary' teen flicks, ie "I KNOW...!!!" (I can imagine CC, something like "I Know What You Did in Cambridge!!!!") Yes, i hope Tom Riddle gets resurrected... you see if Hary faces the old Voldy, it'll be less scary. Voldy will probably look FUNNY, if not ridiculous. At least, hopefully, maybe in the later part of the HP series, Harry and Voldy will have a face-off, but Voldy is back as 16 year-old Tom Riddle... besides, the books itself hasn't explained enough how Tom Riddle became a Dark Lord, aside from being mentioned that he was half-Muggle half-wizard.... maybe something happened to Tom Riddle while he was in Hogwarts? I can imagine like a time-warp thing, 16 year-old (or 17 year-old) Tom versus 16/17 year old Harry with their 'brother wands', battling in some bloody time warp or something. Something JK Rowling should consider! But of course, I want these to happen to have CC back in the future HP films.... CC, as Tom, just embodies a Dark Lord in the making! ;D Wait, is he in "Four Feathers", really? I thnk FF has premiered in the US (or London) already... when is it showing? |

Now I`m royally pissed! Hello didn`t print CC`s pic from premiere, they printed Phelps twins! Not even Sean B. was good enough for Hello but Phelps combo was. Media ignoring CC is annoying but it`s nothing surprising because he stars on Potter and they think their readers are too grown up to take interest in this movie. Only kid mags like Nickleodeon and such give Potter promo boost but they interview child actors. So CC being 24 has been lost in the shuffle. Big mags pay attention to oldies like kenneth and Jason while kiddie zines drool over child actors and teen zines think that no Potty star is of no interest to teen girls and boys. if he had 5 minute apperance on LOTR he`d got lots of media coverage. Pobs is another one post wonder.End.period. Did you notice this annoying pattern - CC plays 2 characters from famous books and both of them got cut short? There are much more Jolly and Tom in FS and CoS books than in FS series and CoS movie, his screen time is always minimized in favour of somebody else.  BTW, I had major revelation today. I looked at his Riddle pic from People and suddenly realised that his marble sculpure-like semi-profile and facial features plus the way his lock fell on his forhead are exactly like.......................................SUPERMAN!!!! I sh*t you not CC stikes 100% resemblance to comic book Supes - his jaw, nose, cheek bones, eyes, hair and ability to look outworldy (alien). I`m telling you CC= Supes. |

Hmmm...Romana the Superman resemblance is interesting esp. since I think Tom Welling of "Smallville" looks like a 25-yr-old HP..... Mandragora....it would be super to see him back as Voldemort/Tom Riddle in future books/scenes....frankly my LEAST favorite scene in HPSS is that scene with Voldemort.....it just annoys me....and seeing Voldemort as incredibly handsome is just...well....CREEPIER in the crux of the story. btw Daniel Radcliffe has a "crooked" smile too.
