Have something to say but don't know where to put it? got a question, but feel embarrassed to ask? like, Angela, how come you can't spell even though you're 19? well, this is the thread for YOU..
here, you don't have to feel like an outsider with all your random thoughts, post it here..and see what happens...
I'll start:
this is the colour orange..you know, like the one you peel...
and why are some lips red? some pink and some brown?

yay randomness, theres nothing like a completely random conversation! ok,so i met ian mckellen the other week and was facinated to see that he was wearing leather pants, now theres no other 60-something year old that could look good in leather pants! and i'm another one who's 19 and can't spell!  honestly the youth of today  |

Speaking of the colour Orange,I have friends who LAUGH at the colour orange cos they find it funny for some reason...lol.
RANDOM THOUGHT:
WHY does space go on forever??? Its gotta come to an end somewhere...but ack,whats after that???

and another thing... this has been bothering me for a while now... WHAT COLOUR ARE CHRISTIANS EYES FOR GODS SAKE?? i always thought they were brown,but in some pics they look blue  !!!! help!! |

Just a random thought: how come strange things start to happen as if by magic or by miracle? I just had my thesis defense yesterday, and during the Q&A, I felt really heady, and I was laughing despite the fact the jury was obviously trying to terrify me, and I ended up terrifying THEM (one of them said, "I am still thinking of a qestion to rattle you")... my grade's quite good despite the fact I screwed up my presentation... (I was stammering like an idiot!) it's a miracle, to be honest! And my mother gave me WHITE ROSES! Now that's too sweet of my mum  |

Now that's too sweet of my mum I was a "rover" today--lol---because numerous teachers were in meetings, so I went substituting from classroom to classroom. One of the meetings was cancelled, so I ended up filing papers into the portfolios. There was another class I subbed for twice this year in which I filed, and something has occurred: as I come to a student's paper and look at their name, simultaneously someone in the room will say it aloud! Uncanny. White roses....that was so nice of your mom....awww...and roses are my favorite. Donna P.S. Nothing is really random, I guess...the fact that a really cute guy and I noticed each other the other night at my brother's b-day dinner, and then the guy disappeared off into nothingness with only himself and his cell phone attached to his ear----just proves it wasn't meant to be! |

there are scientific explanations of things, even the idea of randomness, it can be scientifically explained. even acts of goodness, there are ways to look at it logically, it's not like by 'miracle' or by 'magic'.

Maybe you should register, Ophelia I might agree with what you just said, but up to a certain extent only. But then that would be a long discussion. I don't think that ALL things have their own scientific explanation... it can be interesting knowing that (like love being due to hormones, etc), but emotions and desires, it's not that logical as one might think. |

Why do smart, good-looking guys go for dumb, good-looking girls rather than other smart, good-looking girls?
and
is the universe really just inside a jar somewhere in someone's kitchen?
