A while ago, someone (I think it was Sus-Ana) started a thread giving a link to a Cambridge rep site, and also mentioned that she found his e-mail address. I'm pretty sure that thread got deleted, because I can't find it anywhere. I tried checking my 10 Most Recent Posts on my Profile, but my response to that thread wasn't there. It was probably deleted because of the sexuality discussion, but I would still really appreciate it if someone would tell me his e-mail address, or at least tell me which website to go to. Thanks.

Did we discuss his sexuality I only can remember that we were thinking of whether using the address or not...

I don't either know of what post you are talking.
But if it has to do with private things about him, I think its better deleting that!

It was deleted to protect his privacy in regard to his e-mail address-- I believe. And also probably because of the rule on here that we aren't to discuss his preference.

That makes sense, but I do want to know something. Why is there a rule that we can't talk about his preference?

Ask Ashley. She's the one, I believe, who made up the rule. And I think that all the moderators back her up on it.
I dunno.

Yes, I back her up on it.
I deleted it because several people suggested deleting it; it concerned *that* topic; and finally the origin/reason of the thread had already been discussed and put to rest way back when.
Jen that email was not made public by him and IMHO no one should use it.
Let's end the discussion here in this thread, ladies.

Hmmm...uh-oh. Yeah, I'd say it was a good idea to delete that thread.

i back it up too. sometimes there's personal, and then there's really personal... i think both those topics were under really personal. if anybody has his email, don't email him. he'll probably freak out and delete his email addy. then none of his real friends from there will be able to contact him. so, don't email him. and don't tell anyone if you kno either! if he wants his privacy, we shall respect that. if he doesn't want his privacy, well he'd be coming here and posting messages himself, wouldn't he? hehe.

Can I suggest an always-on-top "Rules for the board" thread? I mean a thread that's always on the first page where the board's code of conduct is easily accessible for everyone... I mean, just so we don't have posts that suggest some invasive debates about him or anybody else.
Because we really don't want to see (as I stated in another post) a debate about his *um* bedroom etiquette (i.e. "eyes opened or closed" "lights on or off" etc). And the "preference" debate, I believe, is as useless and is as much a VIOLATION and INVASION as the above examples... It's like a useless debate about the length of his member.
It's like a bunch of strangers on a message board out there debating about our bra sizes. It's THAT inappropriate!!!! If we were in a work or school environment having this discussion about him, it would constitute sexual harrassment (at least in the United States-- I was pre-law for a while).
So, are we here to harass Mr. Coulson? NO! We're here because we admire and respect him. So, let's show him the respect and admiration we feel for him by steering clear of invasive discussions of his private life.
So yeah. To reiterate: I propose that the moderators post "rules of conduct."
