Christian is going to play Midshipman Hammond in Horatio Hornblower 3, catchy eh?

It's based on HH and the Hotspur. Don't expect to see Hammond anywhere in Forester's classic; Hammond's character was specially built for the telly-adapted classic.

It's due in the first half of next year. I'd say about Aprilish. Until then, I'd say there's plenty of time to do some Horatio DVD/rerun watching. Really, who can get enough of Ioan and Paul McGann?

At the end of the last installment of Horatio Hornblower, Horatio was promoted to captain and got his own ship; ie. Retribution. Horatio finds love in the form of Julia Sawalha [sp?]. No Archie Kennedy.

Ahh well, he's on Daniel Deronda. He races Hugh Dancy on a rowboat. Heehee.

A third installment of the sea-going adventure began filming this summer in England and will be seen in 2003 on A&E.
