Go here: www.the-leaky-cauldron.org/Apparently, The Hollywood Reporter is now reporting Gary Oldman is in the movie. Also there's some horrific rumor going around that Cedric Diggory and Oliver Wood won't be in it (which might explain SeanB's comment in a fairly recent interview that he hadn't been signed yet). Dear me. Donna

How in the hell are they NOT gonna have cedric and oliver? are they planning to eliminate QUIDDITCH? *profanity starts*the @#!#%$ $#%@%$@#^#$*profanity ends* seriously, i thought that not giving CC any publicity was too far, but not including Cedric and Quidditch is the last straw

I think, this is because the book is so long and they have to cut lot of scenes

They cannot eliminate Quidditch nor Cedric in the third movie... that would be slavaging!

well, considering how little they've established oliver wood, i wouldn't be surprised (although i would be terribly disappointed) if they removed him entirely.
and if they do have cedric, all they really need is a pretty face... god knows the minor characters are rarely, if ever, given all that much to say.
for my part, i'm disappointed that ian brown isn't actually playing stan shunpike! that rumour had me wetting my pants laughing.

Actually, Cedric needs to be *more* than "a pretty face" since Cedric is such a pivotal character in GOF.
According to Leaky, Bloomberg.co.uk is reporting that Bloomsbury looks to publish OOTP in July.

oh, i agree fully that he *should* be.. i just don't trust kloves to even consider that in the poa script. after all, wasn't ginny fairly vital to the cos plot? and her character seemed like an afterthought.

I can understand them having to eliminate some things due to time constraints, but it would seem strange not to have Cedric in there when he plays a large part in the next movie! As for OOTP I've heard July as well even though they've already got the manuscript and all but apparantly JK wants the book published the same time as all the others have been (Eg July). If this is the case I expect the sixth book in July 2004, and the seventh book in July 2005. No excuses!!!!

Hmm...all things point to July....my birthday... ;D...... Well, the thing is, even tho she's just about done/done with OOTP, remember, she's PREGNANT. She's going to have an infant.....which will probably affect her one of two ways: either she writes a lot because the baby sleeps a lot, or if the baby doesn't sleep a lot, she doesn't write a lot....or if she's just plain exhausted.... Tolkien took so many years to write LOTR after The Hobbit...CS Lewis once demanded of him what was taking him so long (!)....and THAT was plenty worth waiting for. I dunno how there is even a RUMOR that Oliver Wood won't be in POA....because he's still Quidditch captain, right? So if they don't sign Sean because there's no Oliver Wood in the movie, then that would mean no Quidditch, right? Quidditch.....is....LIFE. lol And Cedric...I just want Henry Cavill....oh wait...I think that was a Freudian slip...that's right... ...I want Henry Cavill...... ;D <g> Donna

and the freudian slips keep coming right donna? lol
i found this on TLC about SB: Biggerstaff's site on PoA rumors
SeanBiggerstaff.com had this to say regarding the circulating rumours that he's not slated for PoA: We have received a number of inquires as to Sean and his position with the upcoming Prisoner of Azkaban movie. There have been rumours circulating that Sean will not be returning as Oliver Wood. Please understand that rumours are exactly that and are not based on facts. Unfortunetely we are unable to comment on Sean's talks regarding the filming and/or script.
ok..if OW and CD DO NOT appear in this movie, they're completely RUINING the entire series and if they do.. donna, do u have a guest room? that's all i have to say..i'm going to picket WB for like a whole summer..and i'm not kidding..lol
