or: whats about the phoenix fly scene? Maybe that bird could have been flewn into his face ;D Lol, yeah, I've heard computer generated phoenixes can be very dangerous to work with! ;D

I think the two simplest explanations are the following: 1) There were (possibly) dangerous things done by the character Tom Riddle in certain scenes which were deleted but will be in the DVD. 2) The young man was not Christian's "stunt double" but in fact "stand-in"---ie he literally stood in place en lieu of Christian as they were trying to work out camera angles etc. Donna

Yep, number 2 seems the likely expanation, although I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for any deleted scenes to pop up on the CoS DVD!
