Unless she's still at the (maturity) age where she's still uncomfortable around guys she finds attractive...lol...Emma Watson so hated hugging Daniel in front of 200 people that they even had to computer enhance it to make it look longer than it was for the movie.

Yeah...Columbus has mentioned that fact in several interviews.....he also relates how when he told her she had to run and hug Dan, she was really terrified...she didn't want to do it....she really didn't....she said in one interview that the problem was doing it in front of 200 people....I dunno....I think that means she kinda likes him....

The only reason I can think of, of her being uncomfortable hugging him, is the fact that she finds him attractive---I mean, seriously, people, can you imagine being 12 or so and liking someone and him not knowing and then you're forced to run up and hug him in front of 100's of people who are all watching YOU? Wouldn't YOU be afraid your affection would show? On the other hand when the trio was on "The View", she sat next down to Dan on the couch and then all of a sudden switched over to the other end so Rupert had to sit in the middle between them. So either she finds him utterly repulsive, this beautiful sparkly 13-yr-old boy, or she was really nervous to sit beside him, and him sitting inches away from her with no physical boundary between them would've distracted her from what the interviewers were saying. <g> Donna

Probably! After reading that interview where she said she was uncomfortable doing that, I decided she did have a thing for him

My goodness! You people really do like pulling things to bits don't you! Maybe Gemma happened to like that top. And good on her for wearing whatever she wants to wear. And I'd like to see what you people really would do if you were standing next to a 'guy friend' and someone that you didn't know very well, whether you thought them 'hot' or not. You would probably find yourself more comfortable with your guy friend as well. *shrugs* IMHO of course. AS for her being pale - nothing wrong with it. I'm pretty pale too, but hey - that's who I am. Maybe it IS a Brit thing.... Anyway - on with the discussion! if anything I'm finding it rather amusing! No offence meant to anyone *hugs* Penny

My goodness! You people really do like pulling things to bits don't you! Yeah pretty much, bits and tiny pieces. Well if that guy was hot *cough*.. I'd go try and stand a little closer to him, if you know what I'm saying. With her being pale, in my opinion, she'd look a little better if she wasn't pale, but whatever floats her boat. Same with that top too.

I can see your thinking, but not everyone considers the same people to be 'hot' and even if they not, not everyone is confident enough to stand a little closer or whatever.... AS for being pale - often it's not a matter of choice or something 'floating your boat'. As I said in my previous post, I'm pale too. Although sometimes it bugs me a bit, I generally can't be bothered with the hassle of using fake tan or bronzer or whatever... Anyway... I'm not here to bash about my opinions or get into a war of words - just trying to bring in the other side of the story...

I guess, lol I just realized how funny it is talking about standing closer to either a friend or someone else. Yeah.. well if I were in that type of situation I'd be equally in the middle ;D
Well I guess what I meant was if she wants to stay that way or not, she could use those fake things or whatever if she wanted to.

do they get fake tanning things in the UK? hmmm... and the whole standing closer to u'r friend or sumone else thing... come on guys, u don't consciously decide who to stand closer to if the pic taker gives u two seconds to get ready...that's probably why CC looks so out of it..lol
and i agree with lizifer.... Yeah pretty much, bits and tiny pieces. it's all we got! lol
