he is an up and coming actor and i know for a fact that they're really not oozing money
sorri Donna! u'r probably not poor... ;D
but i'm not saying CC is either...probably got loads of money from CoS...but u never know... ;D

The truth is I don't really plan on being a professional actor. No way that CC got lots of money for CoS. He`s hired because he`s cheap among other reasons such as talent, Riddle looks,etc. Big movies like LOTR, Star Wars and Potter don`t pay actors well (that`s why they have mostly unnonimous or semi-anonymous actors in leading roles) because most of money goes to effects and sets. That`s true people. LOTR cast is in specially bad situation for having been paid for 3 movies BEFORE their release which means that once the first one hit it big they couldn`t raise paycheck for next 2 for they received (small) paycheck for all 3 already. All they can hope for is exposure from the movie to get them some other good roles. It`s an excellent way to cut on costs because actor`s being megalomaniacs are the biggest cost. Radcliffe, for example, started out with $250.000 paycheck for SS which rose to $2.5 million for COS because when first movie hits big it`s a rule that actor demands overblown salary. LOTR actors, however, can`t do that because hey signed for certain sum for all 3 movies no matter how well or not-so-well the trilogy does.
So being total annonymous and supporting actor to boot CC couldn`t get big numbers for his stint as Riddle.
