ok i just saw it last night... those were the best minutes of my life... rewinding and pausing the film on his smiling face... god that was awesome... although it wasnt a lot.. it was enough.. too bad hes only at the begining of the movie... then there would have been something to look forward to at the end of the movie... but alas... nothing but pure confusion... the acting was great... too bad i couldnt understand what the hell was going on... there was just a bunch of girls kissing and people commiting suicide... anyways... way to go christian for those lovely 2 scenes... god he looked great....

I read the book. Ralph has only two appearances and one sentence to say. Virginia sees him as a handsome and callow guy... I was wondering about, the fact, that he is only mentioned as Ralph. There is no Partridge. Where do they have the name from?

i read the book, and to be honest i thought ralphs role would be bigger in the book than in the movie, but actually there is no point to his character in either the movie or book no idea where the partridge bit came from!

:)Yes it is worth reading it. I like the way it is written, it makes yourself feel calm and dreamy. And there are astonishing connections between those women, really a good book

Yesterday I went to see The Hours at the cinema. What a sad movie. I cried most of the time. I'm so emotional. Christian was absolutely wonderful. I tried not to blink when he was on and I was smiling, lol. I probably was the only one who gave him some notice. Anyway, I thought it was a good movie.

u should read it ausaims, its a good and easy read, and i feel it was made clearer in the book how the 3 women were related than it was in the movie.
i didn't cry at the movie but i did find it quite emotional.

Hmmmm.....I might see if it's at the local library, if not I'm sure uni's got it. I just heard that the uni i am about to go to has the largest library collection in the country.....but it (along with Sydney Uni) is the best uni in the country so i guess people give it books or something. I also found out this rich old dude died and bequethed two houses to it, so you can go and stay in them in the country...

;DPlease describe his appearance!!! His hair, what clothes does he wear, is he smiling, is he shown from the front or back or side, what is he doing...Everything (where is the kissing smiley ) In Germany "The Hours" will start at the end of march, so I need some food for my imagination...

It's a very nice place- building and grounds wise since it's been there 150 years, whereas other uni's around here have only been there maybe 50 years tops. The only problem with it is because it's bang smack in the middle of the city there is next to no parking so it means getting a train and then a tram.....I am used to driving to Uni. But it's all good since I will sell my Monash Uni car park permit. I bought if for $80 but they run out really, really quick and everyone gets desperate for one, so you can sell it for like double the price virtually....good investment.

...I'm quite sure he looks good in it. ;D Whew! He looked VERY good in his two, 1 second scenes =D Of course he would, but *sigh* man, oh man. If anything, go spend the money to watch a good quality of his goregous-ness. ^_^
