Does anyone think it's possible that Tom Riddle will be coming back in later novels? Even though the diary was destroyed, Voldemort still lives. Tom is an incarnation of Voldemort, not a paperback diary.
Just curious...

I hadn't really thought about it, but I guess anything is possible with JK! Also because we don't know much about Tom's past (other than the orphanage stuff) it is possible she might explain somewhere why he hates them so much? I don't know.....

i hope he'll come back, and i think there is a possibilty as lucius probablly has other old school things of tom's and he still has the damaged diary....hopefully he'll come back! or like ausaims said we'll get more explanations!

Maybe we should start persuading JKR to write Tom in her later books just so we could employ Christian again. Then we get to see him, and everyone wins.
It's possible that he could appear in some flashbacks or something, especially as Harry gets older, so she could emphasize the similarities between Tom and Harry.

Very good points
JK has been insinuating that everything comes together in the seventh novel, so maybe a lot of the older characters, not just Tom, will be coming back for a grand finale.
I hope, I liked Tom, not just Christian (although christian is mighty fine!) I hope we hear more from Lucius, too...

Even if Tom doesn't come back, I really hope JK gives us some more info about his past and reasons for why he became Voldemort etc, it would be really interesting.

yeah i think she needs to make it clearer about how/why he became voldy, i mean we know the basics but more detail would be good  i think tom is a great character and deserves to be in future books. |

I get the impression from things I've read that Lucius does feature more in the later novels....but I guess we'll have to wait and see as to whether or not Tom does.

On ff.net a lot of people who review my story call Snape either "Sev", "Sevvie" or "Snapey". Interesting...

i always call him voldy, basically coz its easier than saying voldemort!
theres are certain things about snape that make him attractive, just like there is with lucius!
