What do you guys think ghosts are? Do you think that memories are ghosts ( )? Well, I did manage to get another sighting of my ghost/actor Jason... But it was as I was recieving a hug from my music advisor, E. (I've been going through some heavy stuff lately, and I needed his support.) Anyways, mid-hug, I opened my eyes to find Jason looking on in concern before walking away to his rehearsal and just before I started crying on E's shoulder again. It just seems that the timing between the two of is is never right. When I get myself better, I'll sign up for the theatre dept's wardrobe-quick-change department-- wherein it will be my job to undress him. I think I'd love to see CC as a ghost... and I swear, this time, I wouldn't run away like a maniac... because he might JUST be real (as I've learned the hard way).

lol what better way to get to know jason than undressing him it really does seem as tho u 2 are unlucky when it comes to meeting! well when the time is right i'm sure u will finally meet.... i think ghosts are like a persons soul that somehow gets trapped in the atmosphere when the body dies....thats the best how i can put it into words!

i think, like the movie cliches about ghosts, it's prolly a soul that can't go onto the after life because they didn't complete something in their previous life..so they stay until that deed gets completed..a la the movie GHOST...he couldn't move on until his killer was caught..and well, countless other movies... ;D

I believe that ghosts are a part of a person's soul that gets left behind when they go to heaven or hell. The thought of it really scares me. I think my house is haunted because there was a little girl who died here about 15 years ago and I have often heard mysterious thumpings and whispers whenever I'm alone.

Wow Catriona, a girl died in the house you are living in? Whooosh!
I think of ghosts as a memory... something like Tom Riddle, that's why I very much like JKR's introduction of Tom Riddle. For me, a ghost is a memory of a life that is left behind and the part which it's supposed to continue but got intervened by death.
My friend's grandfather died years ago, and he used to bake bread every morning. Days after his death they could still hear him break and scramble the egg at dawn. I haven't seen a 'ghost' or anything like that, but I have very sensitive hearing... I am not exactly sure if that would be a ghost or just something that is plain clinical!

I thought of an ideal CC haunting:
*I lay in bed, listening to the silence. It was midnight, and I was suffering from insomnia. I couldn't seem to relax ~ whenever I was about to doze off, I felt a chill breeze brush my face, though the window was closed. It frightened me, this feeling that I needed to stay awake...A shadow fell across the floor. I glanced up and my eyes widened. He was standing there in my room, bathed in moonlight, the very man who had haunted my dreams for endless nights. Christian Coulson. I should have been afraid, but I wasn't. I felt as if I had been expecting him all along ~ I probably had been, in some primitive part of my brain. He simply stood there, a silent spectre, his eyes fixed on me. I pulled myself to a sitting position, reached out a hand towards him. My tan hand brushed his pale one. The connection was fleeting, but I knew beyond doubt that he was real. I was about to speak when I heard something stir in the house. Christian tensed slightly. Then he turned to me, beckoned me with his eyes. I rose slowly from my bed, trance-like, and followed him from the room. He led me silently down the hall. He paused for a moment by my parents' room, and then kept walking. With a backward glance at me, to make sure I was following, he walked out the front door. It was dark outside, and quiet; I heard nothing, not even the wind, or the rustle of branches. I tried to take Christian's hand, but he shook his head. Suddenly, there came a tremendous crash, breaking the eerie silence. The enormous tree beside my bedroom window had fallen, fallen through the roof into my bedroom. I stood there for a moment, transfixed and horrified. If I had stayed in my room, I would have been killed. Wondering, I turned to Christian...but he was gone. I shivered slightly. It was such a strange feeling, knowing that someone was watching out for me. I turned slowly and walked back into my house...*
Whew, I'm glad I got that out. I'd been mulling it over in my mind for quite a while, and I finally decided to write it. So, what do you think? It's certainly not great writing, but I like the idea...

w0w..ghosts...
i've had a few encounters, there's no history of my house being haunted or anyone dying here or anything though
something about ghosts really freaks me out,a lot of my friends dont get affected by it,but i do,its really odd
Before,i was laying on my bed in the evening, drifting off to sleep and i felt someone stroking my hair, like running their hands through it,i sat up and looked around but there was no one there,it was so freaky, but i didnt seem to be that scared at the time
i also hear bumps and footsteps when im alone n stuff :S

wow, cool one Jen If I were to haunt Christian Coulson, I am going to get myself a London Phone Directory, and call all the Coulsons on the list, and say something like, "Hello, may I speak to Christian please?' And then, of course, one can get really creative how to deal with all these Coulsons ie, COULSON: May I know who's on the line please? ME: My name is Lola. COULSON: From where? ME: The Copacabana. COULSON: Are you bloody pulling my leg? ME: No sir/ma'm. COULSON: We don't like bloody Barry Mannilow here. ME: I don't like Barry Mannilow that much too. MAY I PLEASE SPEAK TO CHRISTIAN PLEASE. COULSON: What about? ME: It's about the baby. COULSON: The what? ME: You know, the baby, the kid, the dancing schmoe in diapers that howls at night wanting some milk? I should stop, I am having too much fun, nyahaha. Oh, I know that was not a ghost story, but it's always easy to have this: COULSON: Don't tell me you're a fan. ME: ME? No, no, actually I am to inquire about Christian since I saw him reading poetry alone along the Thames during the sunset. He was looking at me while he was reading that wonderful piece, I think it's called, "To the Spirit at the Setting of the Sun" COULSON: Hm, what are you, a publisher? Or are you the new girl he's cooing now? ME: Actually, I AM the SPIRIT at the setting of the sun. COULSON: What the...? ME: I came back from the dead because of Christian ma'm/sir. His poem is like the Ring-a-ring-a-roses chant assigned to me by the Higher Being. This is ridiculous ;D
