Would you believe I haven't even seen LOTR one or two? We've got them on dvd and vcd but I haven't seen either yet. I think it's the fact that they go for so long that puts me off. I read "The hobbit" and the first of the LOTR books, and Dad is forever nagging me to read the rest and watch the movies (he's obsessed with them, and they're the only books he's read in his entire life!).

Right, actually I got to see a pirated DVD of FOTR that somebody purchased in KL (Kuala Lumpur), and the subtitles was turned on in the player and nobody knew how to switch it off at first, and the subtitles are hysterical. It's quite irritating watching it though

Oh, that's priceless! Honestly, sometimes the subtitles are more entertaining than the movie.

Sometimes when I'm really bored I'll end up watching a movie on world movies, on cable. And it obviously needs subtitles cos usually I don't have a clue what's going on with it!!
