Lucy Woodward is also making her way into the American market... Though, I must say that I much prefer Ms. Dynamite to her. Lucy Woodward is much too sugary for me.
I think we need more artists like John Mayer... I know Jack Johnson is around, but there aren't too many male alternapop artists that are very popular. I mean, I'm glad that there's a resurgence of female alternapop artists... but really it would be nice to have a balance.
It's like that crazy rock-en-espanol year we've had... Sugary and female (Kabah, Shakira, Paulina Rubio, Thalia... it was like Juanes got lost... and K*nky didn't get too much air either).
Hey, has anyone seen the music video for "Sorta Fairy Tale"? Is it just me, or does the guy in her video look a lot like Adrian Brody (the guy from "The Pianist")?

I THOUGHT that was him! That kicks ass! I think he's a sorta cutie... Though, the hands and feet thing is almost lost on me. I think I have to watch that music video more than once to really understand it.
I have to admit that I haven't seen many music videos lately... I don't have cable-- I'm SUCH a starving student.
I have a sorta music-based question. As a music major whose had theatre experience, would you guys say that it's worth trying out for "Rocky Horror"? I've seen the movie once-- a really long time ago. So it follows that a lot of the "experience" was lost on me. I barely remember it. Do you all think that it might be fun?
