The DVD will be coming out on April 11. There's more info at www.the-leaky-cauldron.org/ The paragraph mentions how there will be more Dobby stuff and more of the flying car. As if we need more of the freakin' flying car!  Donna |

i saw that...they're only adding an extra 18 minutes i don't think they've been reading the magazines that said the HP dvd's suck! i was expecting some really good extras... oh well...i've learned to expect the least from them, so...this isn't anything new! lol |

Well, we've got two things to hope for: they said they would interview "other members of the cast," which might include Christian, and that timeline of Hogwarts history with video clips seems promising; after all, how can they not include the original opening of the Chamber of Secrets?

C'mon guys (allright, girls), get a little bit more happy! As soon as we've got the dvd we can let it freeze when Tom is on tv... so you can see Christian all day... or you can kéép on watching that part... Isn't that a lovely idea? Hey, what about Dobby? I think he's pretty cute... Maybe he was better as an orange ball, but anyway.... I think Dobby's cute.... (no as cute as cc of course  ) |

Well, there better AT LEAST be commentary. I know we don't see more CC, but we can at least hear a little bit about the pathology of the performance-- right?
Deleted scenes are nice (especially if there's more Ron/Mione stuff) but I get a kick out of the commentary.
Aside: Ryan Seacrest is on Jay Leno!!!!!!! Wooohooooo!!!!!

Wow, 11th April?! That's quite early seen as TPS came out in May last year! That's a day after my birthday, methinks it'll be a great birthday pressie, hehe! ;D Although extra CC scenes would be fantasic, we can't have everything, I enjoy any deleted scenes and I'm very much looking forward to pausing the DVD every time CC is on the screen! ;D

I've been thinking the same thing too----I'll get to watch the Chamber scene over and over-----I told my mom it comes out on April 11 and that it's got more of the car---the stupid car---and she said I thought you wanted more of the car---and I said I like the car, but not like the Chamber. <g> Ahh, in the days of video, we couldn't just "go" right to the specific scene; even if we ff'd it right to the VCR #--doing that over and over would inevitably ruin the tape. Ahh, the magic of DVD.  I noticed on the description of what's on the DVD, it says a "clear" tour of Hogwarts---lol---they must have taken *some* notice of what we all thought of the HPSS DVD. I only found the extra scenes etc. because I read the method off of one of the HP websites!!! There is absolutely no waaaayyyyy I would've gotten there on my own. Maybe they didn't *want* us to find them!  TR on pause.... ....I can just see each of us now, pausing at each frame in the Chamber scene: "Ok lemme see him at *this* angle....ok.....good for that one....ok lemme see him now at *this* angle....." lol |
