Well, at first the idea of Tom Riddle actually having red eyes seems a bit cool, until you realize this is NOT a Batman or that kind of movie---and that in reality, cruel, "evil" people tend not to have red eyes. I mean, that would like Tom Riddle going around in his Slytherin uniform with a sign around his neck saying, "I'm evil." <g>

ok, it looks like he has 'sauron' eyes!
and in cos, didn't it say somewhere that his eyes sorta glowed red for a bit?
sometimes when my eyes water(or i cry) the coloured part of my eyes look red, from a certain angle. praps i'm evil? ^_^ *grins stupidly*

Personally I despise when people draw Tom with red eyes...I don't know, maybe it's because I'm all for Extremely!Handsome!Tom. My heart flipped with joy when I realized they wouldn't be red in COS. |

if red added to the effect of evil they should've done that ...*mad at WB again* well, not for the whole movie, just the chamber part!
and btw...am i the only one unsatisfied with the whole glowing letters thing in the chamber? seeing them again for the 15th time, they kind of look bland...lol ;D

i didn't like the letters either! i thought they should be bolder and possibly slytherin-green. plus there was no connection between the 2 handwritings (tom's calligraphy in the diary and then the messy caps in the chamber). oh well... i think the red eyes are kinda scary. if they had it in the chamber scene, that would be good, but not in the diary scene. i like him looking hot, too, ari.

RED eyes in the Chamber? That would be too literal!
The chamber scene looked great for me, and adding more in-your-face effects in the scene will be putting it overboard. I think it's enough that Christian had his normal eyes ad Tom--- besides, he's really good as Tom. his eyes DID have this evil look to them.
Remember the part when he steps out of the shadows in the chamber, when he says, "She won't wake", and the light casts him with an evil aura? I mean, his acting was good enough to be more convincing, adding red eyes makes it look too much. Imagine putting a fang. Eew.
