Heh-heh. I don't like him that much. He's cute, but not my favorite. I'm not a big fan of Orlando, either.

ROFL!!!! You know, seriously, on a metaphysical quantum level....LOL....here I go......I think that people only age because inherently they *expect* to. People always laughed at me when I used to say, "Oh, I refuse to wrinkle," but today, much older than I was when I said that <g>, you have to get superduperwupercondrilliontuper close to see the ones I *have* obtained.

<g> What I mean is....the human race views time as linear, but it isn't. It doesn't travel in a straight line at all, as physicists have understood. So humans form themselves according to what they think, ie what they *expect*. My mom and I have discussed how many people her age---in their 50's---look older and ACT older because they expect to (and some of them actually have said so). I never really wanted to get older, and frankly I don't know if I even expected to--lol---however as for Elijah's mutual slow rate of aging, I dunno (?) Basically, It's all in the head. Donna

well, it's not all in the head... it really depends on your life style and how u treat u'r body if u excercise regularly, eat healthy and don't do anything dumb (smoke, do drugs, etc) u can obviously look younger than u are... ;D it can be in your head, but mostly it's biological.. ;D

Well...yeah...I was thinking on it later, <g>......it's a LOT of things. Seriously, tho, I've met people who look really old and they're like, "Um, we're SUPPOSED to get old." Um, NO. <g> Donna (off to hug her commemorative Gund 100 Years Celebration of the Teddy Bear teddy bear)

the only odd thing about that theory.. or those theories, i suppose... is that i'm horribly unhealthy and i actually *want* to look older. as much as i'll appreciate it when i'm middle-aged, i don't particularily like having guys say "oh, it was just your birthday, eh? so you're not jailbait anymore?" and yeah, who gives a d**n what guys say, but even my co-workers thought i turned 17 a week ago. (i turned 21) over the summer, i was estimated at 14 by my friend's 13 year old sister. meh. maybe people are just dumb.

Dulcinea, my TEACH elementary-school age children and they don't have a clue to my age. They guess 16, 35, 40, 21, and one day a kid asked me if I were 12! (I mean c'mon, use logic here, kid). The same goes for everybody else. Whenever I'm in a play and happen to tell my real age, my fellow adults look astounded. A 22-year-old who played the title role Gypsy actually thought I was joking when I told her! So, I know how you feel. Do you do your hair? The hair has a LOT to do with the entire look. Now I have it long and straight, but for years I curled it every single day because I looked about ten otherwise. Do you put on makeup? It's a must if you want to look older/more mature.
