Riddle is the most important character in COS because the book is basically about Dark Lord although we don`t see much of him. But everything that happens, all the Mudbloods vs purebloods things, shows what kind of ideas he embraced, what the years of his reign were like and what we can expect if he rises to power. In the first movie/book we learn that there were dark times but COS reveals that Voldy`s actually a wiz Hitler. We don`t know about what`s actually a Nazi idea from the first book. Now, for some reason, Rowling was so mad about Lockhart that she wasted too many pages on his antics and this subplot overshadowed main plot in negative way (that COS is considered the worst of Potter books although it`s very deep and cerebral when you scratch Lockhart surface). But I`ve read an interview with David Hayman in which he`s asked whether the movie implies that Slytherins are Nazis which gives me hope that the movie is more about this phenomenally interesting subject than book is.
However, I doubt that they`ll interview CC before premiere because everyone signed an agreement of confidentiality when it comes to Riddle, nobody can discuss it. So it is a mix of top secrecy and character`s limited screen time. Not to mention that WB`s target audience don`t give a sh*t about Riddle, they want to see Ginny. Sigh.

i totally forgot everything about Ginny....who is she again?? naw..anyways, i've always thought that Voldy was like a Hitler in sooo many ways, and that probably JKR wanted to mask that dark historical theme with Lockhart's dumb antics because the little children wouldn't be able to follow the story.... in my grade 12 lit class, we're going to be studying the HP books and that should be really interesting....but we're only just studying the themes and character development... ;D ;D oh well....gives me a chance to reread the books anyways....

Who's Ginny? *snort*
Oh I just love how the 2nd book is dark. Yeah I guess it does pretty much revolve around Voldemort. We learn lots about him and he has such an important role [ well duh. ]. Yay for him.
I don't think they'll interview him either. I'm hoping they do AFTER the premiere though

they probably will after the whole publicity stunt that WB is pulling to keep him under wraps..... but then again, CC probably doesn't want to be in the spotlight...even though whole plot revolves around the fact that he's petrefying everyone...
weird...
