Um okay, what are the BAFTAS??? The BAFTAS are the British movie awards. They stand for the Orange British Academy Film Awards. How they get "BAFTAS" out of that, I dunno.  I just finished watching them a while ago and host Stephen Fry was pretty d**n funny. For anyone who missed them, they're replayed on Thursday Feb. 27th at 8 and 11 pm ET, and 5 and 8 pm PT (USA times). Donna |

i was there  sitting the the grandstand outside the venue! i love stephen fry! i was kinda annoyed there wasn't more people from the lotr cast there tho, as i've met the members of the cast that were there b4! bafta's - british acadamy of film and television awards i think thats right anyway! |

i was there sitting the the grandstand outside the venue! i love stephen fry! i was kinda annoyed there wasn't more people from the lotr cast there tho, as i've met the members of the cast that were there b4! bafta's - british acadamy of film and television awards i think thats right anyway! oh...*television*....I was wondering where they got the "T"--lol---but I don't think they showed the word "television" up on the screen. Yeah Stephen Fry was realllly funny-----I think my favorite line was the Scooby-Doo. <g> Yeah none of the guys<g> from LOTR were there. And I didn't see any cute guys...except this one presenter I thought was kinda cute...have no idea who he was...lol.....I thought Jennifer Connelly was really pretty....and now I want to see Adaptation cuz the screenwriter's acceptance speech via Meryl Streep was hilarious...lol..... adaptation is basically a movie about this guy who's writing a screenplay..i think it's based on a true story..i'm not really sure.. ;D
