Maybe I should tell her that I am a twittering AUSTRALIAN fruitcake who drinks beer and eats pizza? Or is it the whole barbeque thing, chuck another shrimp on the barbie? Is that it?! 
Funny thing is: I've never had a shrimp on the barbeque, but there you go. My point (I actually have one!!) is stereotypes can be laughable sometimes. I think nobody should bother being offended by someone who clearly has no education at all in some things, and rather than being offended or angry we should just say whatever you reckon mate, to her.
BTW: Can I come to anger management classes with you Jen? I think that might be quite fun. I'll even bring some beer and a shrimp with me!!
