(FORGIVE MEEEEEEEEEEEEE )......what's YOUR eye negativity? <g> I got glasses at 12....I was just a bit nearsighted; I could in fact read without them, and did. At 14 I got contacts. I was/am really vain so wearing them was fine, and they're soft so I didn't feel them. My mom had to put them in for me, tho, for a little while, cuz I had trouble. Lizifer when I heard that reading worsens your eyes, that didn't stop me. lol Catriona I would assume you are a major candidate for laser eye surgery? I'd be a candidate as well, since without contacts or glasses I can't see people's faces a few feet in front of me. But I've read quite a bit on that and there are still lots of problems with the procedure. Not only is the actual procedure icky---you sit there with your eyes propped open fully awake as they do it---the thing is, it hasn't been perfected. Many people have problems with night vision. I've heard of some people being unable to drive! at night. Plus, here's another thing---because my eyesight's so bad, I can get suuupppppppper close to the mirror to see any areas I need to improve/enhance on my face before I leave the house. lol And seeing those computer-putabunchofpicsinsideabigpic pics better. Kinda jumping late in the topic, but oh well...
1.) A lighter, since I'd NEVER be able to start a fire even with glasses. 2.) Scissors, can be used for self-defense 3.) Toothbrush and toothpaste, yeah, that's four, but you can't have one with out the other!

I don´t have to wear eyeglasses or something else, but I think, when I go on sitting so long in front of this computer reading your interesting notes I´ll get a problem with my eyes...

I don't know whether my eyes are positive or negative, I just know I can't see properly without my contacts in.

I used to know how to make one because I was in Girl Scouts, but that was years ago!
