I'm a glasses girl, myself. I don't wear contacts... My glasses are sort of an extention of my face... It's just part of my look... Kinda like Josh Kun, Harry Potter, Betty la Fea, Lisa Loeb, etc.

Yeah Donna, I have really bad eyesight! -9.50! I had been wearing glasses since I was seven, and then when I was thirteen I sucked up all my courage and got contacts. It was either that or wear glasses the size of telephone books for the rest of my life. So yeah, I am pretty much legally blind. The eye doctor told me I had the worst eyesight he had ever seen. He said that if my eyesight was one degree worse they would have to order special contacts and glasses from Japan because they don't make perscriptions that high in North America. I also have astigmatism in my left eye.
The doctor also told me it was tooo risky to get laser eye surgery...I'd probably go blind. They're working on these permanent contact lenses, though, that lets your eye breathe oxygen and you don't ever have to take them out.
