I was going to ask an inane question like: Damon vs. Affleck? (I'd choose Affleck.) But then I thought that it'd be more fun to ask this... Damian Lewis or Ioan Gruffud?-- in terms of a) talent; b) interview/out-of-character mannerisms; c) cuteness; d) crushability. Here's Damian:  Ioan:  My answers: a) Damian-- because he's brilliant at both good and evil... brilliant enough to be nominated for both a Golden Globe and a BAFTA (I think). b) Damian-- he's cute funny, intelligent, with a thoroughly unpracticed charm... I think Ioan's charm is a bit practiced and thus a little less disarming. c) Damian when smiling, looking quizical, laughing, looking sheepish, and with his shirt off... Ioan....I'm just not into redheads; I have never been...I would probably only ever find a redhead attractive if I knew him personally.

I think we all know my answer to this one. I can't help it: I am completely and utterly obsessed by Ioan. (In case you couldn't tell my aviator?) For the first time in years I actually put new pictures on my wall- IOAN!!! I have them in great spots, and my boyfriend just shakes his head as his photos are relegated to above my desk. I told him it's cos he gives me inspiration when I'm doing my homework or whatever.....he didn't buy it.  |

I would choose Ioan in all points, but there is one thing, Damian wins.
In the Forsyte Saga he was much better than Ioan from playing role.
But I can't do a really make a versus, because I have only sen The Forsyte Sagan and Warriors with Damian but much more with Ioan!

So far I'm being out-voted 5-1! But somehow, I expected that. Perhaps the answer to this question was a bit TOO self evident...

Ioan reminds me a bit of the stereotypical "good" frat boy... And for some reason more so in the Westlife video.
Perhaps that's why I'm less likely to choose him when comparing him to Damian... Damian looks every bit the part of the cute young professor-- which is the type I'm kinda attracted to.

I'd have to go with Ioan, only because I've only seen Damian in the Forsyte Saga. Plus, Ioan and his goregous-ness earns him more brownie points ^.^
Speaking of Damian Lewis...
A while back ago when my friend and I went to go watch Shanghai Knights (which I thought was pretty funny) they showed the trailer for Dreamcatcher. About a minute or so into it my friend and I both turned to each other at the same time and said "ISN'T THAT SOAMES??" Hehehe. Some nostalgia for all you out there. =)
(BTW- I'd go Damon. I lost respect for Ben after I found he was engaged to JLo)

I became a JLo fan after she dumped P Diddy. I honestly didn't expect her marriage to Judd to last. I am a bit dissappointed that Ben and Jen hooked up because something gives me a not-so-good feeling about the relationship. But that doesn't matter because I don't know what goes on between them behind closed doors (nor, do I really want to know). I like Ben Affleck better than Matt Damon because Matt Damon has the same delivery for EVERYTHING he's been in since "School Ties." Ben's acting range isn't all-encompassing, but he has versatility. But when it comes right down to it, Ben is cuter AND he's got a more engaging personality in an interview. PLUS he admits that he's human. I think that's part of what draws me to Damian Lewis (it all comes back to Damian  ) ). Damian, in both his roles, and in what we're allowed to see of his personal life through interviews and such, comes across as very human. It helps that he's got a great (ideal for me) build, and is really cute. And in his more recent performances ("Band of Brothers" and "Forsyte") he has a very Henry Winter-esque aura to him.
