USA Today reports that the following HP books were bestsellers in the US in 2002: #1---GOF #6---COS #7---POA #13--HPSS
Also, amongst the top-selling calendars for 2003, the HP *Movie* wall calendar was #4. (Which, I have, of course;) ).
Yes I *did* actually get out of the house today. I went shopping.....uggh....I'm tired and bored right now.

Actually I read that COS was the bestselling book in *your* country, Lizifer. Yeah the dept. stores yesterday looked as if a tornado had swept thru!!! I understand what you're saying about the calendars....I just don't get it...I just don't get it. No....WARNERs doesn't get it...ie their publicity dept for COS....the calendar should've been full of the cute guys..(unless Maggie Smith has it in her contract she's in the calendar? who knows?).......and this week, they're really pushing for repeat business for COS, but who do they show in the newspaper ads? DOBBY! Can ya believe that?! Heck, they could've flashed a closeup of Dan's face and millions of worldwide teens could've flocked back to the cinemas. But no...DOBBY. Donna

Donna i have a feeling they're marketing towards kids rather towards the cute guys becuz they're not legal yet...and well...they're stupid! i mean, once again every other action flick focuses on the dudes, but not this one...no they have to focus on McGonagall...and DoBBY? and Old man lockhart...and... ok...*breathe* i'm fine... with the shopping...i love shopping! but it's frustrating at the malls these days...d**n boxing day sales....it's like 19995858239832 sardines in a can there...omg... ;D

HOWEVER.....there's so many freakin' girls across the world who love Sean B.---they should've put him (HE is legal) standing there with his broomstick---and said in the ad: "Would you like [timeout; I'm trying to keep this clean<g>....it's really hard....omg I mean..difficult ] to go see him again?" I taught some kid who said their mom did publicity for HP. I should've written down some things for him to give her. <g> Donna

I like Tom Felton. It's hard to believe he's only fourteen, though.

Tom Felton's a little cutie... nothing appalling about that. I wouldn't want a calendar of him, though... he's a little young for me.
It really is hard to believe that he was that little kid from Anna and the King.

Wow! He does look like Eminem, now that you mention it. ;D I can't believe I didn't notice that before. I remember seeing him in The Borrowers when I was younger. He had red hair then.
