It's really annoying when some institution bans movies or books because it promotes 'evil'. Why can't they just rate it, like PG 13 or something? By the way, don't these self-righteous institutions have any trust to people? Gee, people CAN think for themselves, for crying out loud I believe people can tell what is wrong or right by the values that are instilled to them, not because of the movies they see or the books they read. It makes people look dumb'( hmp!) Good thing girl, you get to see the movie. Hope you have read the books too because like mentioned, there are places that ban the book also. [Kinda reminds me of this book where evrybody'd forbidden to read, and information is EVIL (the title of the book is the temperature which paper gets burned... "Farenheit 467"? Not so sure about the number, I forget), so some people would meet in secret and are assigned to meet a book, like for example, one of them is the walking Shakespearean sonnets.]

I saw CoS for the 4th time last night! Me and my mate were chatting before it started, when some stupid trailer was on for 'The Wild Thornberries' or whatever its called and this stupid guy sat on our row tapped me on the shoulder and said 'Can you not talk loudly please? Some people might want to listen to this!', I mean, AS IF!!! He certainly didn't look like he was interested in it, I mean, we were gonna shut up once the film started anyway, grr, I was so mad! Anyway, I didn't let that stupid guy ruin it for me and I love Christian even more now! It was so nice to see him again, it felt like ages since I'd last been! And I noticed that the spell Harry uses against the spiders in the spider scene is the one Tom Riddle uses in the memory to frame Hagrid, I'd never noticed that before, lol! I also wondered if the writing used in the diary, when Tom responds to Harry with 'Hello Harry Potter, my name is Tom Riddle' etc, if that was actually Christian's writing!? Lol, I dunno why I thought that, I doubt it is his writing, it looks all fancy! I just love the part when Tom says 'You'll find I can be very persuasive', hehe! I'm sure he is!! ;D And when he realises that Fawkes has blinded the Basilisk and he shouts 'Nooooo!', omg!

Marisa, you might try the official Oprah site. They sell videos of shows, and if they don't have that, you can maybe watch the 20-min. "Oprah After The Show" with the trio online

What I absolutely hate about CoS is cutting out Tom speeches in Diary and Chamber as if stupid director was affraid fans would be bored. Well for his information Basilisk was more boring than fantastically intense dialog Tom and Harry had. I wish it went for ages. It was so d*mn good and I bet CC would`ve been brilliant doing Ginny`s voice "Oh Tom, I think I`m going insane,Oh Tom,etc". His performance was top-notch he hit all the right notes. for example, when he says "I have nowhere to go" he simply states the fact, he doesn`t fall into trap of getting pathetic and begging. Tom doesn`t beg and plead, he just states the fact. Another good one is when he tells hagrid he`d be expelled. You can see sympathy on his face! "Monsters do not make good pets, Hagrid." You can see that he is sorry for framing him for it wasn`t his original plan(but they threatened to close Hogwarts so he had no choice). F*cking brilliant. And finally CHamber. You can see he`s repressing his anger, is about to xplode but still in control, not losing his cool yet. And the priceless "What are you doing?". That one is phenomenal - he asks it very normally but something in his voice tells you that in the back of head head red alert button has just been switched on. And than he fully realizes that Harry`s gonna send him to hell. Perfect. especially when you compare this character with his work on FS where he`s completely different. Jolly`s even differently pissed off from Tom.

Jolly`s even differently pissed off from Tom. Bravo! Speaking of hitting exactly the right notes, you did. [And I know what I'm talking about. I'm both a MUSIC and an English major! j/k-- but I am serious about my two major courses of study.] I completely agree. They really shouldn't have cut out so much of Tom! Not only would Christian have been brilliant expounding and delivering the lines, but it most of it was central to the bloody motivation of Harry Potter's arch enemy and foil!!!!! 'T*ng y na! 't*ng y ng sh*t!!! It would have added a whole different layer to the movie as a whole!!!! As for Christian, he is a brilliant performer. In "Amadeus," he played Salieri beautifully. Even if you disregard the fact that I already LOVE how the character is written, he adds a dimension to the character that is beyond words. For those of you familiar with the movie version, the actor in that is brilliant-- tragic and funny at the same time with just the right comic timing. COULSON, however, plays the character differently--and not just because the lines in the play are just a little different than in the movie. Christian, as Salieri, is still kinda funny in that there's almost a tragic sort of futility behind his deviousness. But there's this whole other layer, where, yes, the Machiavellian is still there, but the undercurrent of the performance seems to scream out "But don't you see?!!! I HAD to do it!!!" Both invoking men to loath him, fear him to be crazy, but then absolve him in the end. Mr. Coulson can certainly take the audience member engaged with his performance on a whirlwind journey of the human emotions effectively. To date, I believe that to be his best performance yet. But then, I've only seen him in CoS, FS, and Amadeus.
