Why is it that every young Brit actor must be considered for playing Bond by his fans? I don`t like Bond movies because they are repetitive, same characters and plots recycled by different actors in different exotic places with slightly different gadgets. CC shouldn`t waste his amazing talent on crap like this plus I hope he gets too big a star for Bond. Besides, Columbus predicted that Sean Biggerstaff would be Bond one day when a fan asked him whether he thought Sean B was a great actor. Well, good luck to him. Bond for Sean, Oscars for Christian, everyone happy.

i hate bond movies too, ok i think i've only ever seen 1 but it was so boring to me! so i don't want cc to play bond!

he's deffinately oscar material tho, hope he gets nominated for some uk awards like the BAFTAs too

I think maybe CC should get for um.. *ponders* Do they have a 'best villian' award? They do on MTV Movie Awards.. Maybe CC'll get nominated for that! That'd be hella cool.

i think cc is in with quite a good chance of getting nominated for some british awards because there aren't any 'new' british actors really this year

British awards suck because they are so biased. I mean, to give jamie Bell Best Actor over Russell Crowe or Tom Hanks and Best Actress to Judy Dench over Brit critics favorite Nicole Kidman is laughable. I`m talking about BAFTA - B*llsh*t Award For Tacky Acting.

i've only ever watched the baftas once, i know wierd considering i'm british, and then i only watched the categories lotr was nominated in so i can't really comment on the people who win!

at lest if cc gets nominated it's a bit more publicity for him!

At least the BAFTAS awarded FOTR Best Picture...the Academy out here in L.A. gave the Best Pic and Best Director to A Beautiful Mind and Opie Cunningham.... ....<g>.....which makes me angrier and angrier each time I have watched FOTR further on my tv screen.

CC could`ve been nominated for COS if the director and scribe had kept all of Riddle. But they didn`t. They spent too much time on basilisk, quidditch, spiders,etc at Riddle`s expense.

yeah i agree donna, i stayed up all night to watch the acadamy awards (they finished at 5am here) only for lotr to be robbed of the awards they deserved!

i know it makes me angry too especially when i watch all the behind the scenes stuff on the dvd and see how much effort and time peter jackson an the rest of the cast and crew put into it!

'a beautiful mind' is an excellent movie but it didn't deserve those awards!

I've actually decided I'm not going to see any movies directed by cue-ball (u know, the bald dude who directed A Bootyfilled Mind)

Because LOTR was waaay better. I really can't believe that A Bootyfilled Mind beat out LOTR for Golden Globes AND Academy Awards.. that just plain SUCKED. I *would* boycott Russel Crowe movies as well, but I loooove Gladiator.. so.. yeah. ^_~
