I think Opie Cunningham won because he's the hometown boy....grew up here, started career early, knows a LOT of people. Peter Jackson is a New Zealander who accomplished what many entertainment people thought never could be done. Partially jealousy. I mean, seriously, what movie 10, 20, 30, etc years from now will still be talked about and watched over and over?  Donna |

LOTR didn`t win because New Line Cinema shot itself in the foot with ridiculous "best movie ever made" campaign. Do you really think that any of those egos who vote for Best Picture agree that another person`s movie is best ever made? Incredibly stupid campaign, must`ve pissed off 99% of Hollywood.

yeah donna, i think it's down to jelously too, peter did something no other director has had the guts to do and he did it amazingly well ;D ahhhh but lotr is 1 of the best movies ever made, they were just telling it like it is |

last night i had a dream i met Christian at the premiere...i was yelling his name, like VJay, and he looked at me..it was love at first sight...lol we got to know each other during the movie(in the theatre, we were talking and such) and at the after party, we got married...ROFLOL! *Sigh* i wish! insane i know, but i know i'm not the only one that has crazy fantasies like this...lol ;D OMG! ROFLOL!! ;D ;D ;D Cool dream though! ;D hahaha!! ;D |

I heard about that nasty gay rumour - some guy I know told me his philosophy teacher when to uni with him, and that she says he's gay. I don't believe him - I think he's just trying to upset me and other fans. Jealous git.

So what if he's gay? There's nothing wrong with homosexuality. Honestly, I wouldn't be very surprised if he is. Have you seen the pictures of him in Cabaret? He'd have to be very comfortable with himself to be straight and do that. But either way, it doesn't matter. I have a lovely (21-year-old, gay, and British) friend I could set him up with!  |

That's what I told the git who's trying to spread rumours It doesn't make him any less good looking and it won't stop him being a nice guy. I reckon the rumourmongers should all go screw cos their all jealous. That's my lil rant over. Where does he live anyway? Articles say he was in cambridge at some point (around uni time i spose) but I can't find anything saying where he lives now :S ooooh the secrecy... |
