AFTER THE MOVIE OR A FEW DAYS BEFORE PREMIERE: Watch the late night shows and the morning shows like TODAY, GMA, Early Show CNN might have something about HP there... they had some people in the news thing last year....
this is obviously not official, i don't even have any dates... but these are tips for ppl who are like me...can't wait for COS, have time on their hands, and are completely obsessed!!!

I watched OPRAH Today....
and well, it basically gave away the whole movie and for everyone's info... all i heard was CC's voice in the first trailer....so it really sucked!!
it was all a bunch of 5 year old's yelling and she(Oprah) screened the movie with them...but it was useless becuz it was stuff we heard already 6million times...don't worry if u missed it tho...cuz i want my hour back!!
the trio looked really cute tho! (baby cute) ROFLOl...however, i really wasn't feeling Emma's out fit it was a pink plaid shirt with a brown plaid skirt *cringes* who's her stylist??

Right... ;D HBO is showing "HBO First Look" of COS on Nov. 4th, I think. It's showing multiple times after that, so check your listings. I am compiling a HP video. So far it has that NBC special on it from last year; JK Rowling's "Biography"; Dan's appearance on TRL; a few clips from ET; and today's Oprah show (if you want to see the 3 kids on Oprah, well, oxygen.com lets you see a few min. taped from *after* the show was over). So....I am very carefully keeping track of all the media....I *suspect* that even tho the 3 kids are back in England right now, at least one of them will appear on NY talk shows since (I assume) they're attending the NY premiere. Oh! Oh!---I just remembered....the official HP website (Warner Bros.) is going to broadcast the Nov. 3rd London premiere LIVE. Oh.....ALSO.....lol.....I went by Target today and I got the COS movie 12"x12" calendar and the COS engagement calendar (the weekly kind you write your um, engagements in. lol). Christian isn't in/on the 12"x12" but that great closeup of his eyes/him standing above Harry and Ginny is one of the pages in the engagement calendar. Funnily, I've been looking for these for days at Barnes&Noble and Borders but TARGET has them. Like Angela, I..."can't wait for COS....have time on my hands, and am completely......" Um, I think I'll leave out the word "obsessed." Oh dear. I tell myself that if I had my own class right now I'd be spending less time on the net searching about this stuff, but actually I doubt it. And if someone didn't see Oprah today....well....none of the questions she asked was anything unusual. Donna

I didn't get to see Oprah, but what Angela said makes me think I shouldn't even care. I watched the After the Show thing, because I couldn't get to see Oprah. I laughed because all of the little kids asked questions everyone knows, but some of them were cute. Girls got to hug Dan and Rupert But I'd much rather hug CC ;D Hah, I didn't pay attention to Emma's outfit, but I saw this picture from Teen People, and I thought she looked rather nice in the picture. I remember the HP specials and stuff from last year. I used to watch the news every morning and stuff because around this time they usually show clips of the movie and stuff.. I'm also trying to keep track of what's on. I'm looking forward to the HBO first look thing also. But just please please have CC shown

Actually, yeah, I liked Emma's outfit....she's starting to wear clothes *I'd* wear....and um...I probably do....lol...I think she's taller than me now tho..... Throughout the whole Oprah show, they showed bits and pieces of scenes....MORE than what's been shown other places before. I even hid my eyes so I didn't see the whole thing!!! Some people have said that they've seen basically the whole movie, but......the movie's 2 and a half hours long lol......and the one SPECIAL person I haven't seen in COS is yet to be seen.....and frankly I'd watch that stuff over and over again, anyway. And...I still think they're keeping Tom Riddle under wraps on purpose. Did anyone else think that Oprah's "theatre" was small?? Frankly, I'd rather wait to see it on a BIG screen. Donna

I think I'm taller than Emma lol. I adore what she wears and I'm even thinking about dressing like her.. okay maybe no, but her outfits are really cute now. Aw now I feel dumb since I missed the scenes. Oh well I can wait I think I've seen most of the movie then. Well saying like, all of the scenes. Most of the scenes, lol. I kind of want to wait and not see all these clips people are posting [ hey have any of you seen the clips on Counting Down? ] but it's hard not to.. so anxious

but u do know that most of the movie has been seen in trailers and clips...or atleast one part of every scene... i know that i will not be surprised by anything in the movie the way everything is going.. however, last year i refrained myself from watching any specials that showed clips and now i seriously regret it...so i mean, it does have good and bad aspects to seeing clips and things from the movie... but i seriously have a beef... i know that the whole LOTR and HP thing is getting old...but i think the LOTR fans are treated sooo much better than we are...becuz there is a new dvd set coming out that has like 30 documentaries, and many more scenes...and there is an exhibit in Toronot that is all about LOTR... so i mean, how come we as HP fans get only 10 unseen scenes? i think that since the original PP/SS movie was 6 hours long, they should have shown that in the DVD...i think we should protest this...
and i'm really serious ;D ;D
and if it does suceed, i'll ask for a whole 1 hour documentry on CC's experience as tom riddle...that would be awesome... but dreams are always dreams... ;D

Yeah, so true about basically all the different scenes in the trailers/clips. I really wish I hadn't seen the clips on CD because some things were really exciting to watch.. I would rather be surprised but *sigh* oh well.
Oh let's! I think protesting that would be an awesome idea. I love HP.. [ don't we all here? ] so just at least give HP some attention. When the 5th book comes out it better XD
Ohmigosh... 1 hour documentary on CC.. If that would be on the DVD man.. I would go down to the WB studios and hug every person there.. lol

I could seriously go down to the studios and hug everyone there....lol......I even get students every now and then whose parents work for Warner Bros.; one of my students last summer said his mom worked on publicity for HPSS, and I told him to tell her I said "Thank-you." Angela, I totally believe you're serious.... ;D and I agree with you........ I read somewhere that a LOT of people were disgruntled (besides us) about the lack of "extras" on the DVD. It was like it was a rush-thru job, or something. There definitely SHOULD have been more interviews, more introspectives on the characters---and SCREEN TESTS!!! I mean, my freakin' G*d (lol)....of all the movies ever, the casting for this was considered complex importance. In fact, they should have included in depth news clips.....they could've included JK Rowling's "Biography" episode.....heck I'm sure if we all thought together, we could come up with a LOT more to include on the DVD. They could've included interviews of extras; I mean, even being an EXTRA on HPSS was thrilling, I'm certain. Yes LOTR fans are "treated" differently from HP fans. Some of our names are even being included on the upcoming Special Edition DVD. And I think part of the reason is, KIDS. LOTR fans are, by large and far, I think, ADULTS, and they demand MORE. As a teacher AND a short (ahem) person, I see how kids get the short end of the deal. They are constantly underestimated. HP is considered mostly a children's book series and therefore it is assumed that the DVD, for example, doesn't need all the behind the scenes stuff. Plus, and I think others here have noticed this, right?----CRITICS dismiss children's movies quicker than those that are about and concern adults. And I think the critics' comments would've been much different, and the Academy (Oscars) I think----if Hogwarts had been a university instead of a school for children. Donna

Over at snitchseeker there was a reminder about the November 3 (THIS coming SUNDAY!) London premiere LIVE on the offical Warner Bros. Harry Potter website. There was a link to figure out the time difference for your area.....I *think* if you're in the USA, it'll be in the morning, but I'm not positive so I am going to check again.
Sooo....check at snitchseeker.com for the link.

Nah, you won't miss it. Last time they let you play it over and over again if you missed it *live*. I'm pretty sure they're doing that again, so don't worry!
