i had quite a lot of guy friends when i was younger. and now the person i hang round with most at uni is a guy, but my best friends are girls.

I have guy friends but I start to be careful with being REALLY being friends with them... it usually ends up in some trouble. I hate it when we start out as friends and then one day he tells me he's in-love with me, or me falling for him, and then I'd go crazy if he has a crush on someone else. Augh, I know that this should be in another thread, but I cannot help it.
I try to stick to the girls, but I have alwas been one of the boys. These boys though vary, from the geeks to thugs.
Do you think it would be stupid to ask some guy when the friendship is going great to say, "Hey, I love you and all, but will you promise me not to fall in-love with me?" Yeahyeah, issues, issues....
