Let's just put it this way: If CC gets TOO famous for his Tomr Riddle part, people would think more of him as Tom Riddle material, and his versatality will be questioned. It's quite possible--- look at Mark Hamil and other young actors who got too famous too early. Actually that's also probably the reason why Chris Columbus encourages Dan, Emma and Rupert to quite after the third because maybe after the HP movies, their career will be over already. I mean, these three kids haven't established their career yet pre-HP, so everytime they play another roles in other movies, they will always be refered to as Harry, Hermione and Ron. And THAT we do not want to happen to dara Christian Coulson. However, he deserves a LOT more credit than what he has now re CoS. Let's jsut wait and see what kind of a stepping stone his being in CoS will bring. At least he doesn't seem like in a hurry, considering in the Holloywood films he's been in he didn't even reach second billing. I think that some casting directors have noticed how he performed in CoS. We have to admit, he is VERY convincing. Let's just consider CoS his BABYSTEPS

I prefer that he`s out of limelight than one of those actors who Hollywood desperately wants to be big stars but they just aren`t despite overhype surrounding them (heath ledger, Katie Holms, Colin farrell). It better to fly under the radar but hit big when timing`s right than to flop in everything you headline just because someone high on power ladder oveestimated your box office potential.
And don`t compare CC to Mark hamill who is terrible actor.

I think it's better that he stay out of the Limelight now, because he might hit the limelight oneday, so it's best to spend as much time out of it.

he should do whatever he wants to do!
i personally would kinda like him to get more recognition for his acting, but i don't want him to be famous just for his looks, he's far too good an actor for that!

Well, let's just say that not too many people I know who have seen CoS think he is such a babe--- they agreed though that he was perfect for the role.
Hmm. Kinda make me think of John Malkovich. He's a renowned actor, very good, though nobody really knows what his movies are. Being John Malkovich is a very funny movie.
Besides one's talent never gets measured by his popularity. It's enough for me to see CC regularly in the movies and admire him--- I hope he's not the type that will get too hyped up in the future. As you know, the business of showbiz...

He uses his talents, I don't think he cares about getting too popular as an actor. It really doesn't matter to him unless he gets to act! I think that's all Christian wants. He doesn't seem like one of those actors who gets big headed.. and yeah

i'm bigheaded, and i'm not even an actor yet. *sigh* oh well, maybe i'll grow out of it. i really love acting, though, and i guess i don't care if i get popular or not, i just don't want to be famous like julia roberts or whatever, because she's always in the tabloids.

ur right rachel he totally doesn't seem like the kinda person to get bigheaded. he'll take the roles he wants to play not the roles that will offer him the most recognition, well at least thats the vibe i get off him.
