Have you guys seen the screen caps? He looks TOTALLY different! I mean, gosh, what kind of a face he has! And then you compare them to the premiere pics, how his face looks open and all, and then as Tom Riddle he looks menacing. I notice that as Tom he had his lips curled inward. (heehee) Reminds me of Kurt Cobain's mouth. As Tom he looks like he's got some kind of an angst overdose--- and it worked! Maybe he listens to classical music too. Here are my guesses: 1) He listens to modern rock/alternative regularly, like a background music playing (Coldplay, Radiohead, Portishead, maybe Pavement) ==> Maybe he likes Morcheeba and Skunk Anansie too? Hope so! 2) For different moods: when he feels funky and everything, he listens to Ms Dynamite. MAybe Outkast? Melloncollie moments: classical, light jazz. I wouldn't be surprised if he listens to opera. Aw heck, he'd listen to anythng, as long as it's good music Hehe, now we're doing some CC character sketches. Just think Soho = modern-day Moulin Rouge. Very interesting.

I tried out for "State Fair" recently. My drama teacher told me I would've gotten the lead if only I hadn't knocked over the set while attempting to dance. *sigh* Instead, she gave me an extra part. Sad.

You guys remember this great movie "Swing Kids"? It was released in the early 90s, with Christian Bale and Robert Sean Leonard (another handsome and talented actor). It's set in WW2, but it's about this group of dancers who dances to the swing... not the 70s swing, but the kind where women gets thrown in the air, etc. CC should do something like that... he has to be a great dancer though! Well, Christian Bale CAN dance... If you guys haven't seen it, well... it's worth the find

Sounds like fun. I remember when I was in 3rd grade, we read the book, "Sideways Stories From Wayside School," or something like that. And they did that kind of dancing. Sorry, don't ask.

By the way, that kind of movie setting will take the actors as far back as the 1940s... gee, if Christian would play somebody from that tme, I hope they won't give him the kind of hairdo he has in CoS I think in "The Hours", if he's indeed the one running (in the trailer), I noticed that he's wearing an old-outfit... so either he's in the time of Virginia Woolf (Nicole Kidman) which is in the 1920s (or earlier) or Juliane Moore (mid-century, I guess). Unless he's the florist with Meryl Streep, of course. Hmm, seems like CC is the period film type. I think it has to do with the looks, really classical. He should do something like a King Arthur adaptation, and play the young king, in search for the Holy Grail But then, I wonder what is CC's Holy Grail? Hehe... true love? Success? A million pounds? Happiness? What is happiness to you, Christian Coulson?

someone on the boards..i *think* it was Mandragora...but i could be wrong anyhoo, they were telling us this story about Hendrix(or sumthing close to that name) and his siblings struggling to live in the city in the 1920's ... that is such an awesome movie CC would do wonderfully in! he would be so great, and i love the whole thing about the mafia/gang that he get's caught up in... imagine CC using brass knuckles...lol, i love it! btw, i made 25 screen caps, just don't know how to get them out of my computer..lol ;D

anyone here enjoy les miserables? it's a bit of an obsession of mine (the novel as well as the musical), and i think the hollywood-isation of it was completely, utterly sacrelidge. i think if they were to remake it *properly*, christian would make a brilliant enjolras. i'd say marius, but it's such a fluffy cottony role, i think the passion and fury of enjolras the bold leader would suit christian's talents better. vive la revolution!

Enjorlas? Haha... Yes, Hendrik a figment of my imagination for some time now Since I think fictional characters all the time, I have to think of someone who would look the part, and Christian very much fits my little friend Hendrik. Though I have to think of Hendrik as not exactly a bad person, but just someone who has to live and is struggling. A good mixture of it though is that CC can look totally innocent and loving, but then as Tom he's quite menacing. And of course, Christian CAN act, and that's the important thing.

I was in that last year! It's weird, though. Now that I think of it, the guy who played Enjolras looked kinda like Christian...
