What do you think of Christian playing Tom? IS he really how you origionally pictured him in your head?
Christian pretty much looks liek the "perfect" Tom to me. He's a bit older then I imagined, but overall, he looks pretty d**n good.

I think Christian looks a lot what I imagined, but yes since he is 23, it's pretty odd. They were casting for people ages 15-17 I think.. I'm not really sure about what age they wanted.
But still, he makes a wonderful Tom. ;D

Yes, he definately looks like I imagined him too. Well ok, I didn't quite imagine Tom to look SO DAMM HOTT but hey I'm not going to complain about something like that!  |

ive neva heard of C.C until i heard he was playin tom riddle in CoS. since then i decieded to find out who he was so i found this site(which is really cool btw) and i think he is HOT!!!!...i think he makes a gr8 Tom Riddle-and he'll bring more people to watch CoS. ;D (hes 23??!!!  !!!) |

I always loved Tom Riddle (for some odd reasons ;D....) And I absolutely had to know who will play him......and searched for any information about the cast *had I overdo this?  * And when I finally saw his first pic...wow..I love these casting directors! He has everything a Tom Riddle should have! In the first place he look innocent, but in that theatre play I think he look evil I never saw him act, but I heard that he "was very good in playing the machiavellian charakters" *arrg* November!!! I want to see that film! I hope they won't make it too obvious that Tom is the hier of Slytherin ..I have some doubts...because of the first film....Eveyone saw in that Quidditchszene that Qurirril was the bad guy  ...I think.... |

Maybe they won't make it obvious.. well I hope not anyway. Of course like many of you ( or probably all of you ) I've read the HP books so I wouldn't know.
They did make it obvious in the Quidditch scene with Quirrel, if you actually look at him and not Snape. The expression on his face gives it away completely.
*shrug* Maybe it'll be different with Tom?

I have a lot of pictures of both Christian and Daniel Radcliffe, and it seems to me that Christian could be an older Daniel. Which might have factored in the casting decision; there's a comment by Tom Riddle (isn't there) in the end of COS in which he mentions their physical similarity. Clare, may I ask you, who is that young man in that image combing his hair back? Donna |

And yes, Tom says in the end that they look alike.....so he seems to be the best actor for Riddle? heh? ;D about he film........mhmm, if he looks juste a little bit curious in the diary-szene...everybody will know he is the bad guy..of cause everyone who read the book will know this, but thats no rason for make it obvious... I didn't think about Riddle beeing the heir of S. when I read the book and I want the film as authentic as possible ;D For those who didn't read it ,it should be a surprise in the End...... |

He looks exactly as I imagined him!!!  I always thought of Tom Riddle - and Voldemort - that it was a handsome boy, tall, beautyfull black hair, beautyfull eyes........a very amazing goodlooking guy... and now Christian Coulson is exactly the Tom-figure I imagined......whow!!! |
