the chin definately! the way they both carry themselves in the movie, the way they're both so intense...i dunno many things that i've yet to register becuz i wasn't really concentrating on the technical aspects of the movie, but little things that u notice the third, fourth, fifth time around...

Ohh nice pointing those things out. I didn't notice any of those. I did though feel that Harry and Tom said the same thing, really made you see they're similar. I only saw the movie once though, so I really don't have everything down in my mind. I need to see it a couple more times..

i've only seen it once so wasn't really looking for details, but they do seem to have similarites, like u said angela, after u've seen it a few times u start looking at the finer details like that.

Geesh! I hadn't even noticed that they said the same thing. The entire movie, esp. the Chamber scene, was intense for me. I don't think I can explain it. I was also semi-focusing on how my family was reacting to it. Actually come to think of it I don't remember much of what Christian said as I was too busy concentrating on his face. He said "Hagrid" to Hagrid, and he mentioned "Heir of Slytherin" and "Harry Potter" to Harry, but other than that.....<g>.... Angela, you're right, they're both "intense." Dan tries to come off as humble in interviews, etc, but look at him in even only photos and he looks like he knows exactly what he's doing. Donna

In this weeks US Magazine there is a 2-page layout on HP and there is a pic of Daniel w/Rupert and Emma at the London press conference as well as a tiny pic of Christian's publicity shot.......in these, I think, they could be brothers! They have similar eyebrows and of course, eyes. Dan's mouth is wider and Christian's lips are fuller, but, still, they look related. Donna

i love the part in the chamber when he says (not word for word) "and look wat the mighty dumbledore brings, a tattered hat and a songbird"...he says "songbird" like he's disgusted with the thing..lol
and now that i think about it, they do look alike and but it could just be that they both have dark hair...and are pale! lol
and dan is really capable for a 12 year old, becuz when anyone asks him if he's doing future movies, he acts like a diplomat and says this politically correct phrase like "It really depends on what happens with the contracts and what the director wants" (not word for word either! but close) as for the other kids, they're not so experienced and say things like "We hope so!"...

i was just over at the leaky cauldron where some1 had written good and bad points about the movie and one of the good ones was "The Chamber: Christian Coulson. Oh, Christian Coulson" lol just thought i'd share that with u! "songbird" i never noticed he called it that, i really am gonna have to go and see it again soon! daniel seems very 'old headed' and he seems to know what he wants and how to get it. i've not seen/read many interviews with him but thats the impression i get!

Lizifer, you should read the transcript of the New York press conference at the Leaky Cauldron. Dan is VERY funny!!! And yes, diplomatic. There was one article I read which was discussing the press conference(s) and the writer stated that he acts like a born politician---for example swinging controversy (such as future films) out of the way onto another subject, being witty when called for, being serious when required. Another writer in another place (I can't remember where; I read everything) said that he was "the leader of the trio" both onscreen and off. I doubt, however and thusly, that his diplomatic answer to "Are you going to continue being HP after POA?" has much to do with his vast experience (he only did 2 things prior to HP) compared to Rupert and Emma. I think it's just that he does have a more logical head on his shoulders. He is aware that POA will begin in a few months and take an entire year, plus publicity work after that. He doesn't know right now if he will want to continue the HP pace after a year from now, or if he will want to take his teen years and both "relax"/prepare for his future, of which there are a vast array of possibilities. Plus, will WB still want him to play HP??? And/or even if they do, what if, for example, 1 or both of the other 2 age too quickly? Would they get rid of all 3 of them? And he doesn't want to picture himself riding his broomstick around a dragon in GOF until it's all set in stone. So, Dan is considering all that, while Rupert thinks "I wanna do more movies." Which he DID, literally say he wants to do more in at least one interview. lol Donna

Finally, the more people see the movie the more they appreciate CC`s work, he`s getting fan`s recognition across the board!
Daniel Radcliffe is Leo and he says that he enjoys fame and being recognized in public, how very Leo! He`s gorgeous kid and very charismatic, don`t write him off! Also, Emma watson, Aries, is destined for big stardom, that girl oozes big screen mojo.

i'm a leo too just read the new york transcript, ur right he does seem to be a very funny guy! he seems to be more mature than rupert too. there's rumours going around that WB think daniel is growing up too quickly to play harry but i don't think he is, he's growing up just like all kids do, including harry. to me all the kids seem to be growing at the same rate! emma is deffinately going to be a star, she has all the qualities allready!

Yes, Emma definitely "oozes" it. Even at the London Red Carpet, journalists were saying how she and Daniel "looked" like movie stars. I think either and/or both could take years off from acting, like Jodie Foster, and return to it later (if they wanted to do this). Daniel was on Caroline Rhea and when she mentioned him being a Leo he said yes but he said actually he's on the cusp so he's both Cancer and Leo---"a crab with a lion's head." Which actually, I guess he has attributes of both---Cancer: family is important to him; he's sometimes nervous/shy; Leo: he enjoys being in the spotlight and putting on a performance; his thick lustrous hair.
