Lol, I can't think what he looks like, sorry! I remember Sam, Frodo, Legolas, Strider and thats about it, lol! I think I'm gonna watch it this weekend though.

I would've preferred if Lizo'd said Elijah or Dom....altho Billy Boyd is funny...lol....but I was watching some of the extra stuff on the extended version DVD and I was like, "Huh? What did he say?" I couldn't understand him sometimes. <g>
Billy IS Pippin. I mean, he's EXACTLY what I'd imagined Pippin to be like. And Dom IS Merry. EXACTLY what I'd imagined Merry to be like. Heck, EVERYONE is exactly what I'd imagined them to be like when I'd read LOTR for the first time oh, lo so many years ago---freaky. <g> (But I hadn't imagined Sam so chubby. <g>)

lol out of the lotr cast dom is my fave  then orlando. but billy is just so cute and funny! lol i usually hate scottish accent but i love billys i don't find it that hard to understand! i only read the books after i'd seen the movie (i'd never even heard of lotr till my mum dragged me to see the movie!) but i agree dom and billy are perfect as merry and pippin! the movie is perfectly cast. i really can't imagine what it would be like if aragorn wasn't re-cast!! |

stuart townsend is an excellent actor (love him in 'shooting fish') but he's just not aragorn, as u said viggo is aragorn!

Yeah, apparently they'd filmed some weeks' worth already, and Peter Jackson has said that he just kept thinking "He's too young; he's too young;"......Stuart Townsend has been outspokenly bitter about his treatment. Apparently, what actually happened, is that there was no notice of it at all; he was simply suddenly let go; he hadn't seen it coming at all...altho he has said that he got along great with the cast, notably Orlando....whom I see a resemblance to him---both of them reminding me of the one that got away from me (if no one else comes along, that is  ) And Viggo just LOOKS exudes Aragorn, anyway. He's quite a bit older than Arwen/Liv, but it fits; she's an elf anyway. <g> Donna |

for me townsend seems too skinny to be aragorn if u know what i mean? not rugged/manly enough! how could u let a orlando/stuart look-a-like go!! i haven't actually seen any interviews with stuart regarding the lotr thing. yeah she is an elf so technically i suppose shes a few thousand years older than him! lol liv is a great actress |
