Nope, anti-spider spell isn`t in the book. I wish CC tell us what Latin word was it, I understood "exame"(sp???) part but I`m not sure about "eronia". Could be.

no i never noticed that!
there is a really good website somewhere where u can search for latin words and it gives u all the different meanings, if i can find the link i'll post it here.

Ohh I noticed that spell. I just thought Harry used it only because he saw Tom did.

I've seen CoS 3 times and I'm hoping to see it again this weekend! It's totally brilliant!!! It's soooo much better than the 1st film! It's funnier & scarier and just generally better than TPS! OMG, Christian is sooo gorgeous in it, all intreguing, mysterious and evil, hehe!  He played a really great Tom Riddle, I was very impressed, just how I imagined him, except Christian's more gorgeous, lol! I just loved the first scene we see Tom in, when he appears out of the shadows in the chamber with his Hogwarts robes on and he says 'She won't wake' and god, the pure evilness as it dawns on Harry what Tom is really like! And I love the part when Tom says 'Mudbloods don't matter to me anymore. For the past few months my new target has been you', hehehe! Daniel Radcliffe is such an amazing actor and bloody hell, he grew up, for the better, hehe! Rupert Grint played a great part again and Emma Watson's acting has definitely improved, I found her much less irritating than in TPS! Kenneth Branagh was absolutely fantastic as Gilderoy, really, they couldn't have picked a better actor for the part! I was in stiches every time he came on the screen, I love the bit where his memory charm backfires and he says 'Hello! Who are you?' and Ron goes 'Ron Weasley' and Gilderoy says 'Are you really? Who am I?' and Ron tells Harry that Lockhart's memory charm backfired and then Gilderoy goes 'This is an odd sort of place isn't it? Do you live here?', I was in hysterics! And the extra scene after the credits, bless him! It's definitely worth staying for, me and my brothers were the only ones left in the cinema, lol! Jason Issacs played a good Lucius Malfoy, but that blonde wig reminded me a little too much of Legolas fron LOTR! Tom Felton played a great Draco, I think he's a good actor. My fave scenes were the flying car scene with the Whomping Willow, Ron's house, the spiders and of course the final Chamber scenes! I was looking forward to seeing the Tom Riddle scenes all the way through, lol! Dobby and Fawkes the Phoenix are so cute as well! I found Dobby really annoying in the books, but he was kinda cute looking in the film! I was very impressed with the amount of totty in the 2nd film too! Not only am I besotted with Christian, but also Sean Biggerstaff and Daniel Radcliffe! Sean wasn't in it enough in my opinion! I can't wait to see it again, more drooling over Christian, hehe! ;D Juts talking about CoS makes me wanna see it again and again, lol! |

welcome cheesy_badgers (cool name btw!) lucius malfoy has nothing on legolas lol ur right branagh was a great lockhart, still think he was too old tho  i never understood why people found dobby annoying, he's always been 1 of my fave characters  i love the bit where tom comes out of the shadows, i always seem to mutter things like "so beautiful" when i see that bit he is the perfect tom |

Tom coming out of the shadows....... .......yeah it was truly amazing. I am convinced that the best actors "channel" and/or "create" these identities. I mean, after all, if they want to convey something, they have to BECOME it. I saw the movie again yesterday and I'm having difficulty again recalling anything that happened except in the chamber scene. Hey, did anyone notice this: that just after Harry's cornered by the basilisk and then the basilisk goes off in the other direction, and Harry's standing next to his "eye"---that's the CORRIDOR! D**n, I thought it was the eye on the wall or something! LOL The corridor is Harry's eye!!!! I wonder what *that* means....... Yeah, Dobby hasn't bothered me at all. However, a certain other digital character *does*.....lol.... Legolas info: TTT toys are out and about; I ran by my local ToysRUS today and lucky I did! I got a 12" Legolas for just under $23, and it's $45 at Tolkeintown.com !!!!!! "So beautiful," huh, Lizifer!!! You can say that again!!! Donna |

yeah beautiful, u know how u describe some people as hot or cute or whatever, i think christian is beautiful (and so is orlando bloom ) anyway, u got a bargin on the 12" legolas!! don't know if i'll get that 1 or not, i need my 6" merry b4 i get anything else!! lmao donna, i was like that! when i saw the pics of that bit i always thought it was the eye and when i saw the movie i was like "huh? its the corridor??" the basilisk scared the hell outta me the 1st time i saw it and it kinda jumped outta the water!! lol |

I am still thinking about the corridor matching Harry's eye...or...um, Harry's eye matching the corridor....I mentioned it to my mom this evening and she was kind of shocked; she hadn't noticed it was the corridor, either. What does it mean?  Seriously, does anyone have any ideas? Donna |

Lizifier, thanks for the welcome and glad you like my name! Christian is beautiful, I agree with that! He really did become Tom Riddle! I'm confused by this Harry's eye is the corridor or the corridor is Harry's eye!!? I'll have to look out for it when I see it again! It's so annoying, there's this live webchat thing as I type this, on the Newsround site and Christian's on it, along with Tom Felton, Bonnie Wright and Shirley Henderson, but the picture and sound quality is rubbish and it keeps cutting out just as the interviewer asks Christian a question, grrr! I caught a small glimpse of Christian and hehe, he looks GOOOOD! ;D |
